1st warzone had really good sound design, like even the background of shots fired and jets flying over, wz2 lost all that and nobody mentions it.

This is not a new part of the WZ, they just returned what they had 3 years ago. More precisely, a year ago, considering that they returned the features that were produced during the time of the vz pacificus, such as the fact that the stimulator heals and accelerates by 5 seconds.

Warzone 1 had better graphics, Better Sound Design and the fun factor, this is a thing to be noticed.
I mean Verdasnk and the start of caldera(yes it was amazing). The last state of caldera and warzone 1 was disgusting.

WZ2.0's cluster strike was sooooooo long... I mean, after a 3hit on the ground it took like 3 to 4seconds to hit another 3 strike and then 4seconds again for another 3strike... Its cool
Warzone 1 Verdansk was top class map design, ambiance and feel. Graphics may be outdated but it felt very cohesive and immersive. It really felt like a war torn city. Caldera, while having some nice points, didn’t live up to its predecessor. Warzone 2 just sucked, felt very empty, too clean, had no soul. I feel warzone 3 is a huge step forward towards verdansk vibes and graphically way better than warzone 2. I kinda like the new map. Still have my issues with it but at times it really feels like verdansk. And graphics can get really good.

Actually WZ2 and WZ3 run on the same game engine called IW9, so it’s basically the same graphic wise. This game engine is also used for Warzone Mobile and this is the reason they needed to downgrade everything. WZ1 on the other and used IW8 game engine and it was so much better.
the ambiance in verdansk was next level, every building had a different sound with electrical buzzing, some ACs running and other things depending on location

For my opinion. The reason why Warzone 3 is look downgraded compare to 1 and 2, it because is a Warzone Mobile. I think delevelopers needs to limit the texture, lighting, and etc that will optimize and run smooth in Warzone Mobile. I think Warzone 3 and Warzone Mobile is a same code in engine, that's why downgraded.

Yes it uses IW9 which is the universal game engine for both standalone and mobile games. MW19 and Warzone used IW8 which was optimized for just standalone platforms and it looks 10000x times better

Why does no one mention that the Urzikstan Map, while being in the same engine as Cod MW2 & Al-Mazrah, is MUCH, by a huge margin, worse looking? Like toys. It even seems the scaling of some objects as well as the model quality is fluctuating depending on where you are on the map. Like they slapped together models from different eras of CoD MW MP maps in one huge chunk without any adjustments.
Because that's exactly what they did to the untrained 👁🗨

Ok, that is what I thought. I mean they did the same for Verdansk already but there it did seem they reworked everything for a consistent look. This time it screams "slapped together in the cheapest possible way".
I mean a fair point would be that with less particle effects and stuff you get a much less cluttered view and most competitive players deactivate everything anyways and reduce all shadows and contrasts. For me as a casual bot though it just looks butt-ugly now.
There doesn'T seem to be a market for a BR game that is casual yet a bit immersive AND good looking.

warzone 1 was the best for me, I remember when it first announced I was like wow it's like PUBG in full first person view with more realistic graphics COD battle royale, then years later warzone 2 and this 3 it's slowly falling down and I was starting to hate call of duty, until now I haven't bought modern warfare 3 maybe if the price goes down a lot. I can't even tell apart what warzone I'm supposed to download. I can't even find any warzone in the ps-store. It just says "call of duty". Then you download and it allows you to download warzone and warzone 2. However there's also a bunch of main games that are ALL named modern warfare. I don't know what is what. I'm not going to bother with any of it... I'll just play Apex because it's free and I don't need a guide for what game to play.

Man, the original Warzone was the best. Never played WZ2, but WZ3 is just a headache. It's too loud, everything is weird, there's too much happening on the screen etc. Although Warzone was a bit slow in some regard, especially compared to 3, it was better in my opinion. Putting tasks/objectives on the ground in form of a laptop instead of letting it flow mid air was dumb, in my opinion. So many times someone gets killed next to it and instead of choosing the objective, I pickup some random dead guy's gun or whatever. Much nicer game, much more chill and overall calmer.
I DESPISE how loud WZ3 is. Running into doors kills my ears every single fcking time...
And hearing the sounds of your teammate or yourself getting knocked down or killed is so incredibly fcking annoying...
Everything is just so LOUD in WZ3. There's no balance to any of it. It's just all turned up to 11
Tiny details don't matter as much in my opinion. I care about the controls, mechanics, and most importantly, the realism and beauty of the environment. Y'all worrying so much about tiny details is the reason they don't improve these aspects of the game enough. And these aspects are way more important.

I’ll be that one comment that’ll try to stay as neutral as possible without having any nostalgia biases, even though Warzone Verdansk was one of the best COD moments for me personally. I honestly don’t see how W1 was way superior. Starting from W2:
- the graphics look more or less the same, if not brighter.
- The operators in my opinion in wz2 look better.
- Camo system way better aesthetically and in terms of variaties and possibilities. I mean, when could we ever use one specific camo for all weapons? This wasn’t a thing until late Caldera era where they brought like 2-4 specific camo events
- swimming and diving into water gives a player, who’s in a disadvantage, the possibility to eecape the battle. Avoiding sweats etc.
- the weapons in wz2 and wz3 look nicer as well. Even though I loved the sound and feel of wz1’s Kilo, Grau and Kar98
- the standard backpack from wz2 and 3 really gives you more items to loot and keep it for convenient moments. Stack up to 15 plates or keep more than one killstreak. No more stressing about additional ammo.
But don’t get me wrong. Activision does come with a lot of decisions that make the cod community rightfully angry. But whenever the developers actually improve the game and bring more possibilities to the table, the community will still find more ways to complain, like we developed some kind of habit. It really makes me wonder if the devs get more and more confused by the feedbacks
I’d say it probably frustrates them because it probably means they have rewrite code every time players complain about a new feature and want it removed
