It ruined Jason's character for 2 whole years because had to be written so OOC for this couple to work even a little, Sam was turned into the villain when she'd done nothing to deserve it, they had her do things that made zero sense just to make people hate her, and to make Elizabeth look like the innocent victim. Thank goodness none of it worked, Liason got GH bumped out of being the number one soap opera and it cost them ratings that they've never & never will fully regain. There are some things you cannot change. The fact that Jason cared about Liz before he even knew Sam is one of those things. The fact that Liz loved Jason but kept trying to save Lucky from his own mistakes & out of a feeling of obligation is another (00, 02, 06, 09) And the fact that Liz will always be the woman who gave Jason his first child is another. Too bad Frons had a Jasam fetish & almost destroyed GH to keep that awful couple alive. He had ratings gold with Liason and threw it away.

Noticed you never mentioned what Sam did to Jake.or is that okay to watch a child get kidnapped and higher to gun men to scare them and their brother and mom. And did u not see all the times at the end where Jason and Elizabeth reffered to Jake as their son. Yes Elizabeth makes mistakes but she did not wait 2 weeks to tell Jason if u really look at the dates. I am not excusing the sleeping with nickolas cause that was wrong. I loved that Liz told sam some real trusts and things and she was so right about everything.sam hated Liz so much and she hates that liz,Jason have this real deep connection before sam come into the picture and with other members in their lives.i just wished that the tptb,products kept it like that when Jason came back but the people in charge changed that a lot and that is not fair and right to see them not having scenes together at all

Looking back ..I hated Sam at the time, but I almost feel sorry for her character at this point. She was so desperate and pitiful. In general Sam is not a bad person. She was the writers " destroy character" victim at this time.

That's true but in reality the characters they were really destroying were Elizabeth and Jason. Two characters I liked very much before 2006-08 but the lie over Jake was a horrible thing for them to do to two people that loved them unconditionally.

@@ghfan51184 It’s quite hypocritical to say that Sam’s actions regarding the boys should forever be held against her whilst Elizabeth & Jason’s months of lying to her about the paternity of the baby had a hell of a lot to do with it; I think it’s also hypocritical that Sam saving Jake’s life counts for nothing and it wouldn’t have happened if not for Sam since Saint Elizabeth was crying up a storm in the arms of Sam’s boyfriend but at least Sam regretted what she’d done while Elizabeth can’t even grasp the concept of regret or remorse because she feels she’s always justified to do whatever she wants including trying to steal Sam’s husband because they’re reeling from the death of their child, she is justified to switch the DNA results that proved the baby was alive, lied to both Sam & Jason about the other moving on, Jason with her even though he’d already rejected her, and when she came clean to them she feigned regret and remorse but a few years later, she tried to steal “Jason” again, going all the way to the alter that time, and didn’t want him around Danny because in Elizabeth’s opinion, the only child of Jason’s that should matter to him is the one that came out of her since she resents the fact that unlike Jake, Danny is the child that Jason wanted with the only woman that he wanted to have his children.

Truthfully,think as if it were you, Elizabeth has no reason to be mad Jason, chose Sam his girlfriend. You can see Elizabeth has motives, she is always sneaking around, Carly doesn't hide seeing Jason because she doesn't have any motives. Sam has done the same thing that Sonny, Jason and her have done all the time, she didn't get herself in this trouble she was framed because of Jason but she chose to be with him and expects things like this to happen. She wasn't tailed to Elizabeth's studio, Lucky was just stopping by and Sam covered for Elizabeth. Why is Elizabeth lying to her husband, he and Jason were good friends but instead of trying to promote their friendship she keeps them competing with each other. After she cheated with Nicolas, Lucky and Jason became friends again. Oh and everyone talks about Sam watching Jake get kidnapped, during her breakdown, but atleast she knew the woman and knew Jake would be safe. Elizabeth forged documents saying Sam's baby was DEAD, she didn't know anything about the other mother, she used her as an excuse for what she did.

Yes they cared about each other, Elizabeth and Jason are like brother and sister, they were best with Lucky and Sam if the writers had went that way they would have had to huge super couples. Jason and Liz never worked out b/c there wasn't any chemistry between the two actors. Sorry but you can't love someone when you are stalking them, she got pregnant on purpose with Jason. Why is Elizabeth so mad at Sam, she is Jason's girlfriend. I wished they had made the baby Lucky's they could have played up the permanent lock history. Every time they tried to put Jason and Liz together the ratings would fall, in 07 & 08 they tanked, the show was almost cancelled even Steve Burton admitted it was a mistake with Liz because Sam was Jason's true love. He thinks Liz is a good friend like Carly in a softer sense but they shouldn't have made them a couples.

Yeah, Liason was a big mistake. It ruined Jason's character for 2 whole years because had to be written so OOC for this couple to work even a little, Sam was turned into the villain when she'd done nothing to deserve it, they had her do things that made zero sense just to make people hate her, and to make Elizabeth look like the innocent victim. Thank goodness none of it worked, Liason got GH bumped out of being the number one soap opera and it cost them ratings that they've never & never will fully regain. The show was nearly ruined for this one truly horrible couple. It was stupid all the way around.

Yes, she had secrets but everyone does & until TRUST is established, which is was, those private things don't have to be given out just because you know someone. Sam and Jason fell in love, got into a relationship, and wanted to have kids together. Jason WANTED Sam to have his kid unlike Elizabeth, who thinks she was chosen by God to have some miracle child but actually all that happened was she had sex, and the condom Jason wore didn't work. Jason wore a condom. He WANTED to NOT get Elizabeth pregnant.So her ideas about that night culminating in a miracle is just her delusions just like her delusions about her entire history & relationship with Jason being more than close friendship since he's never been in love with her for her.
