Where's all the media who were saying that PFLator will be good for the sport & the fighters, having not thought it through but pretending they care about all that, when in reality they were pushing that narrative just bc they thought PFLator will be a thorn in UFC's backside & they jump on anything like that. It's unfortunate that we didn't get to see Gegard stay in UFC & compete against the later wave of athletes & potentially challenge for the championship. He's a solid, well rounded fighter & has an entertaining humorous personality. UFC lowballed him & didn't want to pay the man his worth. I respect his decision to leave & get paid elsewhere, but as a fan of the the sport it's a bummer to wonder 'what if'.
