@@NonJohns For sure! Our girl Rapi has only gotten a costume so far. I want a version where she activates Red Hood mode upon burst. Like some sort of transforming unit.
@@SG-jq5vt Judging from the recent story chapters, she will not be a transforming unit, however she may have a chance to be a stronger unit in the near future.
I still pulled for her even after she got the last minute nerf because she's one of the most anticipated characters in the game, and her personality vibes with me so well. Still appreciate the buff, now she's probably one of the strongest units in the meta.

@ozzyrum6218 that depends. In terms of pure dps we still got Modernia and alice. I wouldn't go around calling her the "strongest" unit in the game. There's alot that goes into it
@@Bungee_Gumthat does not "depend", she deals the highest damage in the game. She literally has her own tier in some websites.
Keep in mind that she can deal more damage than MACRO alice.
Usually calling a character "the strongest" is a blatant exaggeration, red hood's case is not one of them.
@@aguy5912 Not to mention that you have to go through hoops to make Alice dish all that damage. Either macro her, risking a sanction, or at the very least learn how to use her manually with frame cancelling. Red Hood simply does it period, low effort. You burst with her, et voilà, insane damage.
It's true that there's a lot that goes into making a character "strongest", and ease of execution is a factor into that.

"She'll carry you for a while" Meanwhile, I'm still getting carried by her powerful thighs to this day.
The best part of Redhood for me is that I'm still relatively new and can't get overload gear to really bring out Alice's true potential even though I already have her. Being able to have a sniper to go with my Tiga team (no bunnies or modernia) helps push campaign and solo raid so much. Plus these videos are so well put together and clear, I appreciate all the work you put in

as someone who blew all of my tickets and crystals... Happy to have her at MLB Core 1. The amount of damage she's able to generate at B3 is crazy.

4:07 btw a little tip. You can cover slam atk and then Tia shield the poison. The poison doesnt get applied so you can keep shooting

I just started my Nikke journey in late February. Snagged a copy of Red Hood, and my 1st Pilgrim, after 1+ week into the game. Goddamn am I stinking, bloody lucky to get her. She's been carrying my team as F2P user since the start. Her Burst 1+3 combo is absolutely nuts, clearing everything out in those 10 seconds of chaos.
Something similar happened to me with Modernia. I started playing the first week of febuary and whe was my first pilgrim, yesterday i got Redhood trying to get Bay... Now she will carry me thru chapter 15.😅
I have been holding to pull her just to wait for your updated review . Now you are my go to reviewer for this game. Started playing this only 6 hrs before the end of Naga's banner. Red was my first MLB and now sits at 200, core 2. im mid ch19 and its mostly thanks to her that im able to clear maps with a 10k power deficit. Very much a wonderful addition to my main comp (Dorothy/Noir/Blanc/Scarlet or Smol White/Red)

4:51 Regarding the Type 3 burst, technically, the ammo is not infinite. She got 99 ammo and it get decreased for each shot, but after the burst is finished, she still has tons of it left, that's why it feels like infinite.
I just got Red hood yesterday and immediately went to find her build lol

Great guide as always. but but i didnt expect charge damage to be useless for red hood. reroll goes brrrrrrrr
Have you done SR 9810811510911663? RH's B2 is perfect for that situation as she can leach tank the boss's entire machine gun attack. And you only need to tank it once. Simply by not having to put a tank in the team your total damage is going to shoot up by at least 20% even by pre-buff RH's standard. So while situational, her B2 is nowhere near weak.
Worth getting her to Core Lv2.

I remember, when you said that undoubtedly most new commers will be Modernia havers (from your modernia video recently), well guest what why I'm here for lol.
Man, least to say i manage to get Red hood from the 6500 Gems event, i was torn between getting Noir first or dumping all 15000 to Modernia, but yeah cant win them all.
Still after looking at Red hood's kit. she is such a kick ass!

you forgot the pilgrim tower. you can use her as B2 if you dont have noa.
And Noah is 40 sec anyway. You should use rh and her too.
Came back to NIKKE almost halfway Red Ash event after almost 10-11 months of not playing due to quitting just for the MOG minigame and Red Hood. Was just in time to get tons of freebies and was able to get RH to MLB (without having to spend Gold Tickets) --- and she was my 4th MLB Nikke.
It's ridiculous how you can easily clear stages with enemy power 20-30k+ more than yours. She's extremely flexible as a B1>B2>B3 unit due to her Taunt and extremely high Life-on-Hit, making your other members safe as you clear mobs and elites, and also as a B3 unit to burst through most final stage boss within seconds after it appears. RNGesus didn't bless me with Scarlet, but it gave me RH instead
i play Nikke for about month and half before quitting.
decided to come back during anniversary to see if anything change and returned player bonus.

I'm not competitive player and completely ignore PVP content only at chapter 8 of story.

Alice does more dmg but you need her mega invested and have to play near perfectly. And even then RH on auto isnt much weaker not to mention RH B3 got more aoe so she does more dmg anyway
Atleast 1 high % max ammo is important, gives her the 10 rounds she needs to max stack the charge speed buff, allows you to manual the 1st mag, then let her auto the rest of the round.

Water code Brid just ain't cutting it, Vesti is decent, then Priv and Helm are supports.
Dorothy is a exception she deals hella lots of damage but we need more and a b3 instead
Wind code has Guilty and Noir but no one else comes close, D is too niche, Epinel smg hurts her.
I just want to say that Red Hood burst doesn't actually give her infinite ammo like Mordenia’s. It just increases her magazine to 99 (or 999 I don't remember) ammo. Still, since she can't burst long enough to use up all the shots, you can say that she has pseudo-infinite ammo.
You can check it by letting Red Hood burst and POV to another Nikke. Above the Nikke’s icon is their ammo and ammo left.

The damage she does on her burst 3 is simply ridiculous.
I just started playing recently, with the Nier Automata collab, and focused heavily on a 2B build, therefore all my secondary teams are way behind my main team in terms of damage.
I normally use a A2 + bunnies, Liter and Privaty team as a secondary team, which falls behind but still does somewhat alright damage thanks to A2's berserk, and other teams are...uh...just mishmashes of characters that do miserable damage.
Well, on this new solo raid I said, "well, they buffed Red Hood, so let's try her". I was lucky enough to pull two copies and maxed her with 2 spare bodies bought with tickets. Slapped her on a low effort team along with Modernia, Centi and Pepper, hoping to get a bit of damage out of it. And oh, boy, if she does damage.
I mean, I didn't level up her S1, S2 and burst AT ALL, all lvl 1 still, and yet when she bursts she simply...uh....WRECKS the boss. The parts just fall down and break very quickly.
Mind it. This is with a ZERO SKILL UPGRADES Red Hood, with secondhand equipment I didn't use on my main units, maybe one lvl 9 piece and the rest is lvl 8 stuff, slapped on a random ass team with very little thought put on composition. Can't even think how much damage she can dish with a proper build.

I'm confused about red hood. Do I have to use her burst 2 to keep the rotation going it seems all her skills are a cool down. I have been running a 2-2-3 team with red hood. It keeps my rotation going good. I use bunny girl. Liter and scarlet since it the best I have ATM. I have balance first from left then red hood 2nd scarlet mid and liter and noir last 2 spots. I have been only used her burst 3 once because on the 3rd rotation after I use red hood burst 1. Her burst 3 becomes a 40 cool down. I'm forced to use noir or Scarlets. I wanna try to keep using her burst 3 as well and her burst one. While I'm auto.

Just put her on the right side of your squad. Bursts on auto flow from left to right. So just put her to the right of your burst 2 and 3(s) but in front of your other burst 1 (if that burst 1 has a 20 sec cooldown).

My current team is liter, centi, scarlet, alice, modernia.
And i plan to mlb in the end of event from shop because just need 1 copy , since i heard better to change Alice to her for better autos gameplay.

Gacha gods blessed me a RH pull on the last day of the event. Then I user my gold ticket to buy 1 spare body. Overall I'm happy with her. When she bursts she goes brrr brrr

When using Red Hood as a buffer in campaign, is it best to be using manual bursts?
just put her on 1st slot so auto will tap her first and on 2nd burst rotation your 2nd B1 turn and 3rd rotation RH again

unless you want her to still do her b3 then you have issues, and would need to do some manual bursting
