i have watched literally every episode of the pod since day one, but they start to run together in my memory. From what i remember, Dan the Hater as a bit started maybe a month or so into Dan being on camera regularly. Dan was starting to be an on camera part of the show and give his opinions on things. he was like a proto-Hasan. But Dan was ALWAYS hating on whatever it was lol. he was extremely cynical about most topics. once Zach joined the show, i think he made the sound byte pretty soon after.
I think the sound byte came after Hot Dad made the Ian the Intern sting? it was an early Zach sound byte i'm pretty sure.

I forgot how cute younger Ethan was.
Kind of felt bad for Patrice but at the same time theres something up there hanging around with kids all the time like that, making those creepy ass videos, its all gross whether he did something or not. And then he put all the blame on Ethan, sure Ethan said some things he shouldnt have and i dont agree with it but he wasnt the only one, like he said Leafy was going ham on him.

I think Ethan should've put a disclaimer in his videos. But he was definitely not the first one to think like that about Patrice I could remember the comments on the Friday video and threads on Reddit asking why a 40 year old man was doing with all these little girls. Very creepy for sure. If music and production was his passion he should've approached alot more different. The woman defending him is just as disgusting.
Oh dude, i remember this so well. And i actually did track down a bit more about the stream back when this happened. i remember i found out it was Patrice doing some stupid viral marketing for a new show, and i immediately stopped looking into. i remember making it a point to NOT dig further into the story because i didn't want to further whatever dumb ARG Patrice was trying to run. i felt like the H3 audience got played so i dropped the hunt like a bad habit. i had totally forgotten about it until you rolled that terrible trailer at 42:00 lol. now i am kind of curious to learn the rest of it, so i'm glad you put this video together

Love Ethan on the beers, the smoking at the time was a bit odd as it was specific people only he did it with. They were on a trajectory and it just seemed odd to do it on screen. I remember the hate towards him for it. Wish he had drinks with the old guests like Jack and Erik again. Doesn't need to say racist shit but just the rest of the hyjinx was classic.
