  • Update: I added the actual route here:

    Note that some of the pictures are misleading (limitations of google street view). Read the text with regards to left or right at the intersections. Also, there is a shorter version of the route that skips the PGCC section.

    I take my driving skill test on Nov. 2nd here at Largo. For the reverse parking, did they make you enter from the left when you have to turn the wheel all the way to the left to reverse into the parking spot? Will this route remind the same when I go for my road test? Anyone know?

      Be prepared for either direction. The route is also up to the instructor. Practice on this route but make sure you know the area around the MVA. When driving, pay attention to the signs - especially the speed limit.

      I passed my test too! On Nov. 21st, I was so nervous. It was my 2nd time taking it. Yes, the route is so easy around PGCC, I practice a couple of times before I took the test. I was more happy when I pass the 2 point reverse. Thank for the videos John!

    If you mess up on reverse parking do they automatically fail you?

    • @boogiemonster98
      @boogiemonster98  Před 6 lety +1

      Short answer is yes. However, take your time. If you are off on your first try and don't hit anything, you can try again. I think you are given 2 or 3 minutes to fit into the space.

      hahaForFuns were there any tricky parts during the test?

    • @hahaForFuns
      @hahaForFuns Před 7 lety +2

      angelwings21109 No, It was pretty easy. My tester/instructor whatever was old. So he yelled and grunted the whole time. But as long as you don't do anything wrong on the list or dangerous you will pass regardless. He had a lot to say to me at the end of the test about his personal views on driving. But i did everything correct on the list and was safe so I passed.

    Thanks for the video I thought this would be the route when I looked at the map when are you making the actual driving video I take my test on 9/15

  • @stvllaa
    @stvllaa Před 7 lety

    so is it just the reverse parking and then straight to the road test? Or is there pulling into a space head first as well? Also do you happen to know the speed limits on this route? I know pgcc is 25

    • @boogiemonster98
      @boogiemonster98  Před 7 lety +1

      You do a couple more starts/stops in the closed course...no front end parking.
      You should be able to see the speed limits on the actual version: czcams.com/video/GUU8xLsTwxk/video.html
      Good luck

      John Thank you! could you elaborate on what you mean by start and stops?

    • @boogiemonster98
      @boogiemonster98  Před 7 lety

      I think there is a stop sign in the closed course. You can go to the MVA any weekday and watch people taking the closed course portion of the test.
