Check the tube stem. This happened to mine and it was due to the bore hole in the rim that the tube stem goes through not being filed/smoothed down well enough. It was jagged metal. I had to remove the motor/tire/tube and use a dremel tool to smooth out that part of the rim before reinstalling a new tube. Has worked perfectly since then!
Thank you for watching! And sounds totally right what you said. I will tell my dealer that. However, now I am some how bitter with the experience of inmotion. The probability of having two factory defects in the two wheels that I bought with a year in between makes soo worry. I could hurt myself bad because factory defects in both occasions..
Do you have pictures you could share of how it looked like? (And how it should look like after filing it down?)
Glad you're safe! I just ordered a V12 and will probably Velcro the stand just to make sure that it doesn't loosen up while riding. Thanks for sharing your experience!
My pleasure thank you for watching. However I don’t know if the stand went into the tire or the tire lost pressure and then the stand was caught on that. Super weird

Glad you are okay. You said the kick stand got got stock into wheel. Maybe it is because of tire type compare to other tire but I don’t think so, or maybe because kick stand was not pull up ⬆️, rim, malfunction etc could be cause, thanks for sharing
Yes I have no clue. I was in straight line so that is the weird part. If i was doing curbs of off road. I could get stuck but no. Maybe I lost the tire and when it drope all the pressure the stand got into its way. Because i heard something and then pum floor. It is super fun but be careful!
Got a crash with Msx 3 days ago ... my gear looks really Bad, but it helps a lot .
I’m glad you’re OK brother! I had an accident at the beginning of summer I crashed my Sherman and broke my left shoulder. I couldn’t ride for six weeks because I was in a sling. Soon as the sling came off I was riding again thank God!🙏
Very sad to hear that, I wish you a fast recovery. I cannot imagine a crash with the weight of the Sherman must be hard 😞. Thank you for watching.
Can you tell me what was the exact damage from the crash? Did any of the pedal pieces get bent? And were you able to re-attach the side pad? I just had a crash going very slow and my side pad came off, it brooe some of the clips so i will have to buy a new pad but I need temporarily attach it until the new one arrives
I always forget to put mine up. Gonna think twice next time I put it on kickstand. Glad you OK. Changing tire not too bad. I have myself.

Me too, but I don't think it could do what he says. My guess, he got a leak and didn't know it. You have to put Slime in your tire for prevention.
@@bepriceless I actually checked the tire before going out and funny enough I have half a bottle of slime that bought that morning for the V11.

This last batch of V12s has had some tube issues where they have gone flat. This was reported to me by eWheels when I asked about any issues with this last batch.
You now what now that you say that makes a looot of sense. Because i am not able to inflate the tire at all and it looks great. The tube seems reasonable to be the cause of the problem and it is freaking scary

Glad you didn't get hurt. My guess is, the tire deflated as a result of the wreck and not from the kickstand. I forget to put mine up sometimes, but nothing ever happens, although you have more of a knobby than I do. I still don't see how the kickstand would do that. You were pushing the envelope and disregarding the beeps; play with fire you might get burned.
Agree, I was trying to get 55 km that is a big tight for a margin of safety. I could expect a cut out but a tire? The tire felt and looked better than my sherman and big surprise

Too bad I wanted a review to know which would you choose the Sherman Max or V12 HT if you can only have one?
I have both, and I love them both (sherman max more expensive but you are getting more). You will need to be specific in your needs and experience. I was able to do most of the review of the inmotion v12ht will upload this week. Thank you for watching
Wow!! If the stand is the reason for your crash, then there should be an alert by Inmotion. Perhaps to remove the stand. Seems like its just bent thick wire. Not a closed loop even. Could it also be the cut-off problem?
Thank you for watching, it was apparently the tire tube. Similar problems with the tire have been reported on the comments on this video :(.. I hope the problem is just for some units
The guy just forgot the stand down and it got stuck in a knob and clamped the wheel and he's coping about it. it's not an issue with the wheel.
Thank you for watching! Thankfully, I was able to confirm with Eevees that indeed there is a issue with the tire tubes on the V12HT.. I sent stand with the wheel to check if it was that the problem. If you are a V12HT owner monitor your pressure, maybe you will not have any problems but always watch for safety.
No Injuries thanks to safety gear.. always wear em no matter if it's a short ride.
Totally agree! I even wear more equipment in when I do group rides. Thankfully I had just some scratches and the loses were just material. Thank you for watching

my v12 hs is the first batch, probably the very first 10 units were shipped out from the factory, and yes, I am based in china, had no problem with the kick stand, but had mosfet failure and burnt driver board, at 1000km and 1300km, after replacing the new parts, I've had one battery not working due to the unbalance voltage with the other battery, factory arranged a remote tech to calibrate the wheel's batteries to the same voltage, the wheel rides ok now, but every time I turn on the wheel, the remain battery shows 99 or 100 even it only got unless than 90 before turning off, I'm almost 100 percent sure it will go wrong at some point soon, but whatever the problem will be, the factory will start charging the parts need to be replaced, they made that clear to me since the wheel gone out of warranty period. oh, by the way, they did not even callback for the mosfet failure in Chinese market, many riders here are either selling the wheel to the next unfortunate rider or paying at their own expenses to get the mosfet fixed.
Wow that is incredible bad! I am so sorry for your situation. And I hope Inmotion do something about it, they used to have great reputation for safety:(. As for the North American dealers, they have the power to pressure the company for us customers. If you look at Eevees videos they make it clear they push for better service. I wish there is a way to do the same in china. Thank you for watching!
55kmph is around 34mph, yeah? HT has a top speed at 37mph as opposed to HS being 43mph. I mean, you did say you were pushing it for testing. Maybe there’s something there? 🤔
Yes, I agree with you 100% I was risking a cut out , but a popping tire? Also The top speed is 60km doing 55km as a max is a bit of a safe limit considering I was at full charge. However I didn’t reach them I think the tire broke about 43-47km to be precise. And because I was going in a straight line and in good concrete I was super surprised that the fall was because of the tire… for reference I do the same path at 65 km/h with out problems, and this wheel is way more comfortable than the Sherman. Also, the tire is busted doesn’t inflate but I don’t see a hole it could also be the rim. I am contacting my dealer to see what are the following steps.
@@mexwheeler7002 thanks for the clarification. That sucks about the tire though. I also have a V12 HT so I’ll have to keep an eye out about that tire. Maybe I should change it out for a more reliable tire before going crazy on it.
@@cosplaydiver the sad thing is that I did love the tire and is super confy compared to others. I will keep investing and to see if it was my problem for my specific wheel or negligence from my part or that inmotion is just not good.
@@mexwheeler7002 As someone already suggested. It could be where the valve stem passes through the rim. Let us all know when you find out!👍
InMotion wheels are a toss up in the air now. There have been some weird episodes with this wheel already and it just came out! Smh
To be honest, I don’t know what happened exactly. I don’t want to blame manufacturers because I love the wheel and the tire makes it feel like a suspension wheel. However, at the end my life was in danger. Also, I was going fast and Probably the safety speed on the manual is 15-20 KM/H 😂… I am just supper happy and grateful that it was just some scratches.
Mine runs like a champ with no problems after 1500 miles.
@@bepriceless you are so lucky. For my this is my second inmotion wheel and my second problem with a wheel and second problem with an inmotion wheel XD
This looks suspicious. You fell and had the footage, but it was corrupted. And you claiming you went top speed.
Not top speed just trying to achieve 55km the fall was about 45km my guess and yeah I was recording the test drive for a CZcams video. I will still upload what I have. And my camara is broken, I can upload the date and the file to prove it. But the point of this is to prevent happening to other people
