ASMR - Map of The Great Lakes - Australian Accent - Chewing Gum & Describing in a Quiet Whisper
Vložit
- čas přidán 25. 07. 2019
- An Australian man's voice (#AussieASMRMan) is quietly whispering and chewing gum as he draws a map of The #GreatLakes of the USA and Canada and then discusses key facts. These key facts include, the history, cities on the shore line, origin of the lakes' names, and key features etc. Autonomous sensory meridian response (#ASMR). All the discussion is done in a quiet whisper, while chewing gum.
This video uses the Blue Yeti microphone for the audio. The video portion is recorded on a Olympus Stylus camera.
Would love to see a ASMR video talking about yourself, why you got into ASMR and what it means to you.
Love from the UK 🇬🇧

Greatest ASMR channel of all time hands down

R.I.P "Pop that in my mouth" 2017-2019
Yes I was waiting for that too!
I think he saw my comment on the Korean video, and decided to ditch the pitch...
Nah I think he just recorded multiple videos in a row, and still had this piece in his mouth from the previous video.
I'm always happy to listen to feedback, so for the next video I'll include "pop that in my mouth". Also "unfortunately" and "now" are popular... any other word requests?
@@AussieAsmrMan I THINK you do such A beautiful job on all your videos. !!!
U can also draw some video game maps
Great idea!! :)
That's a good idea! GTA IV and San Andreas could be solid choices, as well as The Elder Scrolls games, and the Far Cry series. I'm sure there are plenty others like Breath of The Wild and whatnot as well.
The gum disclaimer at the beginning made me lol 😆
Just remember if you ever run out of countries you can always do each of the fifty states individually
Xavier Smith there’s 195 countries, I don’t think he’d run out any time soon
@@sunheartmoon there's 197 actually but I just want to see this man draw my beautiful new york state
Xavier Smith can’t wait for the Wyoming one

Xavier Smith yessss I live in New York too
I live and work just outside Hamilton, Ont. CA. Your drawing is improving every episode, super hard to watch and not want to close my eyes. So soothing.
Thanks!
The only time this kind of comment is a compliment 😂.
This is one of my favourites map drawing video by far. 🗺️
Great one. 👍
Keep it up mate👏
Thanks, will do mate!
Ah the ‘unfortunately’ came out. 👌 Love the way that sounds.
Thanks!
Outstanding as usual.

I love the map videos, but your reading/show and tell videos are my favorite! Would love to see some newspapers or magazines in the future 🙏🏻
Yes, I'd like to do a magazine video...
The tingles I got in my throat are insane as soon as the video started ❤

The UP should just be apart of Wisconsin at least it touches our state unlike Michigan
@@workdayorange6948 Wisconsin should just be a part of Michigan, because it touches Michigan, unlike Wisconsin.
Close! Green Bay, WI lol
He should do a drawing of our solar system
I have to comment again: you're absolutely wonderful. So obliging, ernest, conscientious, beautiful to listen to. You put a lot of effort into this one! Just like all your others, too. And I love listening to your informative commentaries. Thanks, lots--again!!!
Thanks and thanks for the very positive comment!! It's comments like yours that keep me motivated to keep making these videos!
That’s my home state right there! Super cool seein this pop up
I love your videos especially when you talk about temperatures and weather reports for different countries.
i think its time for a camera upgrade so we can enjoy this in smooth 1080p 60fps
Crimson He needs more views/subscribers so he can get more money to buy it.
Plus since he’s in Australia, it just simply costs way more than in a lot of other countries. Aussies get ripped off on a lot of things. Shipping there is always expensive. Even converted for exchange rate and higher average income, things tend to cost more that aren’t made in Australia.
Crimson I’ve no issue with his videos now, it feels very natural and comfortable, the setting // video
Great video mate! Commendations from Adelaide; a bit closer to home than The Great Lakes!:)
Outstanding precision on this map.
Thanks!
GREAT idea! I was totally expecting more maps of countries, but stuff like this is even better, really interesting. (Doesn't hurt that I'm from Toronto!)
Thanks!
Hello from Alpena, Michigan! I was very happy to see a video about this especially an ASMR!

Cool!
Cheers from Milwaukee, WI! Grew up and live on the lake (my current apartment is 3 blocks from a cliff that overlooks Lake Michigan) and am so pumped to see this map!

Hey Aussie man! Could you make a video describing the Australian culture and everything that comes with it? I will be going to either Australia or USA next year for academic purposes. Love from India!

Another great video! Really enjoy your content and thank you for sharing. Would love to see a map drawing of Egypt and some its most historical sites. Could be a great one to throw in with some ancient location facts.
Yes, Egypt would be interesting...
Thanks for doing the Great Lakes. (New Yorker here. )
No problem!
Really like these map drawing videos, very cool 😎
Also may I request a map video of Puerto Rico?! With perhaps interesting historical facts.
Wow! You did it! THANK you!!! It's a great map! I remember being taught how to remember their names by using the acronym HOMES. Homes is pretty easy for a kid to remember.
Huron, Ontario, Michigan, Erie, Superior.
My family spent a lot of summers at Lake Michigan while my sister, brother, and I were still kids, and for some reason, I felt the most at peace along its shores. Does anyone else out there remember looking for Petoskey stones and agates?! Or remember feeling what it's like to go into Lake Superior after being used to the other lakes? Lol... It is definitely the coldest of all of them!
Thanks and no problem! HOMES, I'll remember that! I always like a good acronym...
@@AussieAsmrMan Lol! Have you ever heard the Song of Hiawatha by Longfellow? Some of your commentary made me remember it. It's set on Lake Superior, and is about an actual, historal person. I know I would like to learn about him, he was a person of importance.
'The Song of Hiawatha 1855"
(just The Introduction)
"By the shore of Gitche Gumee,
By the shining Big-Sea-Water,"
Did you know that Lake Erie is the only lake that freeze completely in winter?
Greetings from Ohio!
Benjamin Krawetzki Greetings from Medina County!
Lake Superior has completely frozen over before
It's also the choppiest, because of how shallow it is, not recommended for small boats going across😂

Greetings from Duluth, Minnesota! Western most tip of the Great Lakes 😁
Hello there!
One idea I got for ya if you run out of countries is to try & draw famous landmarks & talk about them. I really like your work & can understand if drawing a map can get a bit tiring & you'd want to spice it up with something new every other week or so.
Nice videos, would like to see one of the east coast of Canada 🍁 the rivers and lakes on that side would be cool 😎
The brush to sweep away the eraser bits is a secret tribute to the king of asmr,Bob Ross.
Yes, that's right. You've gotta love Bob Ross!
Damn boi you are so good at this.
Thanks!
"Huron" is a term originally from French, referring to the "hure" or head of a boar. The Wendat people, who were allied with the French, call themselves the "Huron-Wendat," and they are part of the Haudenosaunee people (people of the longhouse) formerly known as "Iroquois." The Huron-Wendat were renowned traders, and grew corn over huge swaths of land from Georgian Bay to Lake Ontario, before they were routed by the Kanien'kehà:ka (Mohawk) when these last received guns from the Dutch. I believe this Ontario land is still referred to as the "Nionwentsiio" (the beautiful land) by the Huron-Wendat. However, the Huron-Wendat community is now situated near Québec City. If any Huron-Wendat people have any corrections to make to this, I defer, of course, and thank you! 🙏
Great video!! And I think the tv shows you’re thinking of are Laverne & Shirley and The Drew Carey Show. 😉
Thanks, yes I think you are right!
Great vid
Thanks!
Ayy Gary, IN native here!!
Your whispers and map drawings are awesome! Would you do the state of Oregon some time in he future?
Thanks, I haven't considered individual states, but you never know...
You did a really good drawing here.
Thank you! Cheers!
As an American this was really lovely. Would also be cool if you drew various regions of the US and Canada like the Old South, Western Canada, Quebec, New England, etc...
Watching from Green Bay! Somewhere around a half hour from Lake Michigan:)
Hope you enjoyed it!
Cheers from Michigan!

A map of Bangladesh would be cool as that's where my dad's side of the family is from!
I live right on the eastern most edge of Lake Ontario, and I have a cottage right on it!

Hello from Canada 🇨🇦 :D
Hello there!
Huron is the name of one of the largest Native American tribes to ever inhabit North America. Also known as the Wyandot. They were part of a nation that encompassed a lot of the north eastern continent’s coast. Watch Last of the Mohicans for a brief mention in media. You mentioned that our town names are so cool. I honestly don’t even think about it anymore. Names like Wicomico and Nanticoke seem so familiar!
Thanks for letting me know.
Hell Yeah
I live in buffalo, bout 15 mins from Niagara Falls! On Lake Erie.
Cool!
First and nice video btw
Thanks!
I know Detroit and Chicago have nicknames, but are here some other nicknames:
Cleveland: Indian City
Milwaukee: the beer can lol :)
Saul St Marie (i think thats how you spell it right): the canusa city
Toledo: glass city (idk why they make so much glass lol)
Sandusky: coaster city (my beautiful hometown lop :)
Thanks for sharing.
That tiny bit of blue edge shading that you missed by the narrow exit to Superior... :(
That little bit of eraser acting like an underscore in The_Great lakes, too.
Good stuff though man!
Thanks!
Lake Huron is named after a native Americans tribe called the Huron that lived in the area
Okay, thanks for letting me know.
Very good and relaxing video. But in the drawing, my old University is in the Lake lol
Sorry...but perhaps you were studying marine biology?
Lol. I was studying Earth Sciences, Geology, and Geography...so close. It was in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Let me tell you...Lake Superior is the clearest most pristine of the Great Lakes but OMG is it soooo cold, even in summer. Would much rather be back on the beaches in Queensland. Lived there for a year so I love your videos. You should do detailed drawings of each state in Australia one by one.
Greetings from A Wisconsinite!
thank you!
Me too
Could you tell me what Sketch Book you use for these and the specs and stuff. The paper looks awesome. Love the vids keep up the good work.
I use a Creative Place Artist Collection Drawing Pad - I bought it at Aldi.
Do you have a reference picture or is it off of memory cos if so super talented
Yes, I have a reference picture just out of camera shot.
It's pronounced Duh-loo-th. :3
I love you accent btw!!!
Thanks and thanks for letting me know.
I’m Canadian and this taught me more about the Great Lakes, I didn’t realize how ignorant I was before....
Cool, I learnt heaps about the Great Lakes from doing this video too!
