Of course we have our share of jerks even in our own homes than actors or so called celebrities think they are bigger than everyone else with their inflated egoes but when you compare the older generation was much more respectful and humble compared to current ones and also the southern culture is less show off and more respectful and humble than the bollywood and of course there are exceptions to the norm.
Kamal Hasaan and Sridevi´s screen pairing is the best in Indian cinema. Both dynamic actors complimented each others craft to a supreme height like no other could. They were the best.

Tamil cinema is considered synonymous with Rajnikanth nowadays, but as a North Indian i.e., an outsider to the region, whenever I think of Tamil cinema, this guy comes to mind for me.
