Let's take a moment of silence in gratitude to our armed forces and strategically Mrs Gandhi's political acument ....which took Pak out of our eastern border. Imagine if Bangladesh was not formed and East Pak existed today.... Cong or BJP would be kicked on their back side when they turn East or West. Well thought out military aggressions create permanent and long term benefits for India. Appreciate this aggressive position...but does it have a long term impact? NO. I feel any impulsive action mostly gets claps.... but doesn't offer bigger outcomes.

Rajeev Chandra is wrong. When 26/11, 2008 happened USA and Allies were much more hugely invested militarily in PAK. Osama was to be eliminated which he was in 2011. Obama used that to get his 2nd term. In this use and throw world... Pak was in use mode then.... and is today it is used and ready to be thrown by the world order. So even if BJP was ruling in 2008-13....entering Pak would not have been allowed ....and conversely... If Cong was ruling now... There is a good chance they would've retaliated much in the same way. So unke Ghar mein ghuske maarenge is just for mass appeal dialogue baazi. Informed ppl should know.... That this credit is Not of any Govt irrespective of who rules.... 100% with the soldiers.

A debate with two good, powerful and knowledgeable speakers is very pleasant view on indian television. Please do promote these kind of shows rather than stupid 4-5 people shouting each other down without even a minimal contribution to the discussion / outrightly stupid and foolish in their views..
Just because a political party is in existence does not mean it has to get time on national television to air it's views. It has to prove it's worth to attract participation even..
And the last thing i wish to add here, i have heard you Mr. Rajdeep in many interviews which you have given where you have said you wish you discuss topics of national importance everyday on channel? But what/where is the step towards that? I know you cannot do it alone but still you are the one who decide what is to be taken up for discussion on television. Why do even give a voice to some stray incident of religious fanatics or a ultra left extremist morphed in the form of liberal? By discussing some stray incident, instead of letting it die down with a single.line / single para condemnation you give it a mainstream thought / legitimise their views and provide space to spread hatred. Please ignore that.. maybe you can argue that when everyone is doing if i don't discuss that i might lose traction / rating.. but since everyone discusses that stray incident why do you want to do that? Maybe you will suffer for a day / week... After that people are intelligent enough. They will come around and see who offers real value. And the current stray incident goes away in a news cycle or two and has no significance whatsoever in the future. But the time which could be used productively is gone forever. So let's hope we use our resources in the best possible way to rebuild the trust deficit that is currently existing in news as such in whatever form it may come.
