I like this episode myself. All that editing for the more produced episodes probably takes a lot of time too. I personally like the more raw diving heavy content.

Yeah. Burgers. I do two things with my racks I either bbq them or scrape off the raw meat and make fish burgers. The burgers turn out divine. Throw some onions and seasoning in there. So good.

Putting a timer on the dives is good to see for beginners. And how many dives to find the fish would be good 👍
Yea I like that idea, very hard to do. On these simple dives I like keeping the cam rolling, gives a little more of a live feel of the diving and a realistic take on when I see fish!

I looked those words up, not insulting. It's talent in the cooking and gourmand is someone who enjoys well prepared food.
Now that I'm working less, I take a bit more time to make foods taste good and are cooked well, old dog learning new tricks.

Got 4 bass today gutted and fillet d rest is fish stock scales too.Strain it pick off any good meat makes good potatoe fish soup.

@@CaptainJackSpearo up here by Gainesville out the lake these mostly go on river fishing but its high real high fish got all the worms they can eat are not biting in river.I have nothing but fish gel this morning in fridge going to put potatoes onions garlic carrots in it and chow down going to ride my bike to veg stand in a bit. You are obviously a way better spearfisherman than I will ever be, but this is exactly what I do 1-2x/week - solo dive off the shore.
If you are going to repeat this again, I might suggest using a boogie board as a float - you can rest between dives on it, and you can also put your catch in a mesh bag on top, so you don't worry about the sharks/cudas stealing it. I actually have graduated to a float tube, I can sit on it and kick-paddle myself out pretty far, and it doubles as a great place to rest between dives.

Just to answer your question, I like more the real footage, I also spear and that helps me to understand what the reality is from dive to dive.
Next year I am going to Brazil (I am originally from there)., to a place called (Armacao dos Buzios, Rio de Janeiro). If you are game to spending a few days there, let me know so you can join us.

What are your thoughts on bang sticks for shark protection? There are few books on the subject of spearfishing but the one i have recommends them.
I dont recommend them. If a shark comes in and you give them a good poke with your spear that'll usually deter them.

Hey! I have it in my Amazon list in the link in the description. You can order them through Amazon. It's great because u can use it like I did as a flag but also can remove the flag and use it as a float line bouy when shooting pelagics
Can you show again how you string the fish againonnext episode. Do you😅 use the clip or stringer. And if u do, leaving them under the float is fine? The sharks and other predators wont eat them?

Not legal. Please lookup Florida state statue 68B-20.003 section D. Just not worth it for a misdemeanor criminal charge.
