Woooow, I love the dark vibes reminding me not only of Poe's creations, but also a little bit of Dan Brown's books and Kara no Kyoukai series. I'm mesmerized!
It's like being little at first, discovering something strange and dark. Everyone says there's nothing to uncover, that the thing you've seen is just a fable, a myth, but you know deep inside there's so much more to it. You start learning, hoping one day you'll be able to discover and understand the mystery. The melody slowly but steadily builds up as you progress, you learn ancient arts, polish your skills in your free time, when no one is watching you. You feel you're so close to the discovery you brush your fingertips against it a couple of times. Finally, the time arrives. You're facing the mystery, dark and somber, remembering you first contact with it, the feelings you've felt - restlessness, fear, but also excitement and the certainty of you being the one destined to uncover it. You walk into the mystery, feeling the answer just right. It ends with a certain feeling of emptiness, but not the bad one, the one full of satisfaction that only makes place for another mystery to be solved.

Oh this is perfect for my DnD session I am running; players are caught in a cabin haunted by the spirit of a young girl who was sacraficed to an abyssal lord by her father in an effort to keep her mother alive, because he couldn't bear the thought of losing his wife. Players have to uncover the mystery of what happened to help the spirit find peace and rest.

When you hear something unpleasant you can always cover your ears, you can't shield your eyes from the dark.
This is an unusual one. Don’t get me wrong, I really like it, but the music paired with the picture gives me this “creepy Narnia” vibe.

@@twrk139 Well, the artists often choose artwork that they believe goes well with their compositions and Secession Studios is no exception. I always look at the image and try to imagine a scene from it along with the music. It’s how you get a whole vibe from a song sometimes. So, no...a cat picture wouldn’t fit in my opinion. It would be a little confusing.
@@queenvictoriann i am trying to say that instead of looking at a picture you should instead see the music with your imagination only, without any visual stimulants.
@@twrk139 I do that all the time. I listen to hundreds of songs without seeing any sort of imagery or the context that they’re in. It’s been a way for me to fuel my own imagination for years and come up with stories. However, when I have the chance to see some cool art piece or photograph that is meant to compliment the music even further, why not let it enhance the experience? Besides, if the musician specifically chose it for their music, I assume they must think it fits with the theme and therefore can be appreciated alongside the song. Artwork is a big part of the music world and artists often try to convey information or hints about where they’re coming from with the themes in their songs. I see no harm in enjoying that.
@@woodnoteflute Artwork is not something that in my opinion should be focused on when releasing an album. Of course, a "cover" artwork is needed to express the album's essence, not for every song though. There is no need for it. Neither there is a need for example, for titles like "Music for X". It robs the listener of ambiguity and self-categorizes every song into it's own box.
Secession studios makes some of the best compositions in my opinion, I absolutely love the draw of building up to climax.
I picture a rewinding of traumatic events that starts after there has been the realization of a memory that has been forgotten

implying an uncontrolled dark and unknown ambience , it is becoming darker and darker, the theme is very good

That was, until an outsider discovered a horrible truth, the truth of the Insmouth People.
