Tried this today - a very good recipe - baked it in a 7 inch loaf pan as per the video - came out perfect 👌, then made one in a 6 x 2 inch pan - it fits and bakes beautifully. This is the recipe I looked for all along - gives a nice tall cake layer

I always failed to make cakes they turned out so dense. I was doubtful of this recipe but istg this cake was so simple and delicious. Would recommend also it’s easy but a little bit tiring, beating the eggs took along time for me. It took me 30 minutes so just keep in mind to use a really good beater. So I would give it 10/10.

@@mehreenamir4311 not really , try it next time when you do a sponge / chiffon cake - comes out super light and soft. The cornflour + all-purpose flour = cake flour

Tried it today. So soft & fluffy.
This one is perfect loaf cake recipe 💜
Also i used 1/4 cup oil instead of butter. 2/3 cup sugar instead of 1/3 cup.
2/3 cup = 1/3 + 1/3 cup
Also I made it on stove. Preheated my pan for 10 minutes on medium flame. Then baked it on low flame for 20-25 minutes.

This looks wonderful and so simple. I d think if you’ll wait to add the vanilla after boiling, the flavor will be better. Cooking vanilla, especially boiling it, weakens the flavor.
