loved how chill this video was, i hope you do well in the comp and that mash does try and put x ups and xrides back into streets!
Only thing I was questioning was Lip Trick tech, hopefully BMX streets has decent quarter pipe grinding and stall capabilities, I found in Pipe that quarter pipe stuff was pretty limited, you could sort of force a grind on a quarter but it was difficult and very random.
The game is definitely aimed at street riding but he is working on having that stuff in the game!
I mean, if you watch "street" competitions your more likely to see toothpicks, footjams and icepicks on the quarters than double flair quad whip superman seatgrabs Heck alot of lip trick stuff has found its way into street riding. Whether its Charlie Crumlish or Erik Elstran, plenty of stalls and tech taken to street objects which seems more street to me than the big air stuff. No hate, just find lip tech more interesting than big air stuff, and to add realism, some of that big air stuff should be way harder than it seems to be. I'd also love to see some tricks added in from Mathias Dandois, his Flat Street Haro video is still one of my favourite BMX videos of all time. Say what you will about it, theres clearly some never been done before or since tricks in there by blending flatland into street. And some of that stuff has crept into dedicated street only rider's repertoire.
in the bmx streets discord there’s a clip of someone doing flair to smith on the quarter. makes me think they’ve got it down, but idk

Haha stoked for ya! I’ve always thought about this game being somewhat of a esport competition lol guess it’s happening
my only concern with bmx streets is I hope they work on teh character animations, I don't care what you can do if you look stupid doing it, all though a stat mod allowing you change stuff like that will definitely come out sooner than later after the game drops, it's just the point being, I hope it's something in consideration, other than that the game looks awesome.
How do you think dirt jumps will work with the BMX street physics? Really hopeful!
Hard to say since I haven’t rode much transition in the game besides that bowl but it seems like it could work pretty well!

Very nice that they invited you to that event and I can’t wait to see the video about it, but watch yourself out there cause you know it’s Russia and there are some bad people down there but great maybe after that they will invite you to some other events like that

Hey, thanks for the fun game. I'm just starting out, and this feels amazing and authentic.
I was pretty bummed with riders' republics feel and overall cartoony look. This is filling that 120 dollar hole in my heart with hope and excitement. By far, the best feeling bmx game out there.

release date hasn’t been announced yet, but Mash games has said that roughly one more month of development, then a game trailer with release date( most likely).

Watch out for the bears on your trip to Russia! I'm kidding, but will Streets release in Beta? I feel like Mash is a perfectionist and could work on the game for another decade if we let him.

I got to get this game..I never heard of this I've been riding bmx for over 30 years and know a lot of the the homies meaning (Pros) from my state to Florida.. at least there is a little trail section in this..if you do this comp good luck, and is this game good on xbox x ?

I’ve joined the volution discord but I don’t see any mods there, all I really see is a welcome channel and rules section. I’ve put a good amount of hours into the game but am really starting to want some of the mods I’ve seen, does anyone know where to find them? Btw love the videos man!

I heard @ourbmx mention that gamer/biker comp, they also said that trip was a little scary and I would highly recommend doing some research before going there and dont forget you will not be very favorable there being an american. dont forget the conflict going on its a very real sitaution, you make one wrong move out there you might not come back.
I for sure did a lot of research and asked them a lot of questions before agreeing to participate , i appreciate the concern

Yeah honestly sucks to see any support for events happening in / hosted by Russia given the last 2 years. I understand needing to participate in things that will grow you and your channel but it's just a turn off to see anyone supporting them.
