In terms of offside for assistant referee, this image may make people confused a little bit due to the dimension.

The penalty sign was changed at the assisstant referee by FIFA. He have to show the 'fault' sign.
Just a tip, never call out "Play on" it specifically says in the 2015 LOTG book to avoid using the words "Play on, keep playing, ball still in ETC."
Also ball going out, you don't need to raise the flag, you must only raise it if it is a tight call. If the ball is clearly out you must signal, no need to put your flag directly out, this can cause issues with signalling.
Another issue is substitutes, FIFA would like both hands to be on opposite sides of the flag, in other words placing it at each end, not on the handle and end, but both ends!
Before signalling for an offside you must raise the flag to a straight up position until the referee has blowed and pointed at you. If not if the referee has played advantage, or if he has told you via COMLINK to put your flag down, if not in NPL then you must wait for him to wave you down...
Another issue is the penalty, that isn't penalty, that is calling the referee to you to talk to him. For a penalty you must raise the flag directly up then run to the corner flag after the referee has acknowledged you, this should only be used when you KNOW it is a penalty, you must always make eye contact first to establish whether he saw it or not...
Also extra tip, go into the junction at the 6 yard and goal-line when the penalty kick is being taken to make sure the ball crossed the line or not.

1:27 usually a ref who shows the advantage sign like that is the worst ref i have ever seen and refs 12 year olds. you are supposed to have straight and determined arms... not look bored

good video, but annoying music. and i just toke the coarse, and you got acouple things wrong. for a foul u raise the flag and shake it. for offside you just raise it striaght up
