Here is another bizarre stat for you... O'rangers always have terrific Thursday races. They average 7.9 points higher on Thursdays compared to the rest of the week. In fact, the effect is so strong that all other days of the week rank _below_ average, as Thusrday skews it so much. Week 10 was the lone exception of a good O'ranger Thursday, as they only scored 3.
Other notable teams:
Team Primary pulls off +6.0 on Saturdays
Minty Maniacs have +4.1 Wednesdays
Green Ducks had +4.0 Thursdays
Purple Rockets have -4.9 Saturdays
Thunderbolts have -4.6 Fridays
Minty Maniacs have -4.0 Tuesdays
Team Momo had -4.0 Sundays
I love the Raspberry Racers but this week might be trouble. Rezzy hasn't shown the agility to handle these more complex courses. I hope I'm wrong and that he can get to next week but I am worried. Also a small critique for JP, when you speak it seems like you have a tendency to move the mic away from your mouth making it difficult to hear sometimes I would love to see headsets or higher quality mics. Love the pod guys, keep it up.
A bit of an up and down week for Rezzy thus far, but they have run consistently mid-upper table so far. They have what it takes to be a top 10 marble in this MS100 at least.
We will continue to improve on the mic holding and work on getting some better equipment. The love from you guys is a big motivator to do so. thank you!
I think the first tie breaker is head to head best finish so if 2 teams have 15 points but one has 6+9 and the other has 15+0 the team that scored the 15 in a single race would be ranked higher.

Not the biggest Indigo Stars fan but after the 2023 showdown I expected good results, and they’ve definitely impressed me. They’ve outlasted 3 of the other teams I root for (Solar Flares semi-ironically, Hazers, and Gliding Glaciers). If they manage to beat out the Snowballs it will be a pleasant surprise. Hoping for success this week!

My 4 favorite teams are all still in right now which is insane. This is also the first time i havent been disappointed in 3 of them

inside marbles (4 most centered) averaged +0.9 more ponts than the pack
Week 8:
outside marbles averaged +1.1 more points
inside marbles averaged +0.1 more points
So starting placement has some small effect per track; we have no visibility into how this is chosen.
Unreal stats thank you! It seems the marbles at least experience each side + middle (although sometimes inconsistently) to avoid an advantage.
Week 10:
Outside positions: -1.0 points
Inside positions: +0.2 points
Week 11:
Outside positions: +0.1 points
Inside positions: -0.4 points
It sucked seeing both my teams get eliminated in the same week. I wasn't really that surprised to see Speedy get KO'd based on the first couple of races as the middle sector was his weakest. Momomo on the other hand was surprising as they had a 92.5% chance of surviving, based on a computer simulation someone ran. Speedy did finish in the top 10 once the past week, race 5, but because of the points system he only got 7 points
That's the pain with this event. One bad week can ruin your team. Computer simulation though!? That's pretty sweet. Who is the favorite to win it??
@@JellesMarbleCastPodcast If you look at comments on the discussion thread post on Reddit or CZcams comments, someone makes a comment about running a computer simulation for the rest of the week and comes up with the probability that a team will be eliminated. For example, the CZcamsr with the handle @renerpho ran 500,000 simulations after yesterday's race and came up with each team's chance of being eliminated as show:

That's a great question. I would assume every day because Jelle and the team never skip out on a chance to raise the production, but we will have to see.
Why is everyone sleeping on Saucer? They have been performing better and better as the tournament rolls.
We gave Saucer his flowers last week. It has been an incredible tournament for them. Rooting for them to make a deep run.
That’s wassup. I don’t have a favorite team. I’m like JP. I’m a league guy, but I do have a soft spot for the Rockets 🚀
Lastly, and I’ve said it on all marble platforms so ima say it here too. Git rid of the Solar Flares and bring in the Strixes!!! They deserve an opportunity. Every tournament they’ve been in they’ve been competitive. Plus the unique uniforms. I will stand 10 toes down on ‘em til it happens!!! Love the podcast fellas keep it up!!! 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾
If I had to pick a Marble or Marbles that can win the Tournament, Im saying these teams
Indigo Stars - Im surprised That they have been Doing well, This Never happens, But it’s good to see them This Competitive Now, After some Terrible Years
Snowballs - Yes I know, One of the Worst Picks I can pick, But I think they still have somewhat a chance To win this Tournament, Just because They had one terrible week, Doesn’t mean, They will be terrible Forever
Oceanics - My Favourite Team, That’s all you need to know, But I will say one thing, They Hate the Marble League, Like Every League they Do, Terrible But once They enter The Survival Tournament, They are way more Better than Every tournament

Love the Indigo stars pick. Worried about the snowballs after getting crushed by the swatter last week, they haven't looked the same. As for Oceanics, they have looked unstoppable.
Snowballs are definitely not the worst
However kinda ironic Snowballs got 13th eliminated
i just found this channel yesterday and finished watching the first two vids when this ep. came out.
please work on the sound and don't move your hand holding the mic around.
Minty Maniacs are my last fav team standing so i expect them to get eliminated this week, just how my luck is going.
the Jungle Jumpers are Green Ducks nemesis so i really wouldn't be surprised if they won the whole thing.

Shocked you didn’t mention the ghost marble neglecting its duty to dislodge, team momo was counting on ghost and he let them down big time.
