I was 13 when De Press came along and changed our small world. A bit too young for 1977, the post-punk era was far more important for me. I hope that one day, Ola Snortheim (if this profile really is him and not an imposter) will tell the whole story of these demos and the musical way forward to "Product", one of my all-time favorite albums. And, maybe, how ideas later resurfacing on Nebb’s Holy Toy-albums already were present here. Meanwhile, thank you so much for making this available. A very interesting companion to both "Product" and "On the Other Side".

I discovered De Press for the first time today. I have no idea what any of the songs are about (& Andrej's english isnt brilliant), but I do know they were/are fucking brilliant. Thankyou so much for posting this lost gem.
Just discovered this band today. t took me a while before I ever got to track #2 because I had to replay "Heaven" several times. I absolutely love the tempo and the instruments used. And then I heard the rest of this - awesome stuff! I will definitely check out more of this band.
