From experience you will need to do a mat/calibration, the spreader is only accurate if its been calibrated first unless it was blind luck the first settings worked. Every application we have used just going off the recommended settings has always given an uneven spread pattern and has required a quick mat test to fine tune. only takes a few minutes and better to find out or confirm settings before doing hundreds of acres with a uneven spread pattern. You might think it looks consistent until you lay the mats out and start snapping photos and realise how far out it actually is.
Great spreaders, highly accurate, just don't trust settings until confirmed with the mats. The radar is not the silver bullet, the mats are.

you probably want to mount a spreader like this on a standard type tractor so you dont get the forward and backward rocking motion (it wont spread evenly if it rocks back and forth since the angle changes)
Yeah probably. We tried the 8320r but it had an isobus issue we later figured out. But for this the 8345rt did a good job
I googled Amazone, impressive, 140 year old company from Germany. Seems like they know what they are doing.
they are pretty much the market leader for fertilizer spreaders and liquid sprayers in germany and for good reason as well. input costs are high here so it pays to have the best tool for the job
