Great review. The 20MPH ballocks (and cameras on yellow box junctions) is why in March 2024 I went to Wells instead of Wales....so the money stayed in England. If councils continue to remove bike parking and impose restrictions on traffic then the money will go to France. I watched the 25 BMW owners ride round and round Dartmouth looking for bike parking....fail....then take their money back to Plymouth...thats about £500 of lunch money lost....councils think about that...,sorry for the rant🏍️💨💨💨🤔

Twist that grip and these bikes fly

Excellent first review, you’re a natural! ‘My wife won’t believe this is work’ 😂

I love a cruise control option so I would definitely buy something aftermarket when I would be buying this type of bike

@@hox1967 I have a little plastic palm rest which is perfect and cheap.

Good test on the F800GT. I own one and it is getting better with miles going on it.
Your crackling mike needs sorting, but the balance between voice and engine/exhaust noise is just right.
    Subscribed. 👍

Thanks andrew. I have recently purchased a new mic which seems to be better! Working on the next review now. Will be coming soon.

I've had a 2015 GT for a few years now mine has done 22000 miles it's a cracking bike not sure the suspension settings do anything to the brakes though ?
I'm a big heavy gent and the only thing i have issue with is the bike's diminutive size looks wise but she does bomb on and do the job very well, I downsized from a CB1300 for licence keeping reasons i do miss the Honda but i do like the GT good video just some facts were incorrect 🙂

Really considering getting one of these as all the reviews have nothing but positive feedback about the overall ability of the f800 gt ..good review 👍 20 mph pathetic Isn’t it..

Try it in hot conditions first, chassis gets very hot on knees , almost unbearable in hot summer days. It's my only complai t for this bike.

@@GoemonIshikawa13and the engine noise is directed back at the rider which is not nice because it isn't a nice sounding engine.

@@andrewhayes4246 The sound is not an aggressive one, is just a leaf blower, not proud, but I prefer this way:a really quiet sound is good for a trip.

@@GoemonIshikawa13 I agree with you. I have always said it's silly to draw attention to yourself when you are going quickly.

Anyone know about vibration on these 70 mph plus? Its the main thing I've read that puts me off buying one

    • @cowshedmotorcycles

Can't say I remember it being too bad. I didn't spend too much time at 70mph consistently on it.
