Charles Maimarosia performs 'Merani Toro' for Fed Square Live

Amongst the hustle and bustle of Melbourne beginning its working day, Charles Maimarosia set up to perform his original song 'Merani Toro' in Swanston St Forecourt at Federation Square.
We weren't sure what to expect of the contemporary performer from the Solomon Islands, who is taking part in this year's Fed Square Live concert series, but needless to say we were thrilled with the results!
Fed Square Live is a free, live, summer music series featuring a huge lineup of independent and emerging acts that will launch audiences into the heart of Melbourne’s music scene.

He is Charles from the Solomon Islands. His classical contemporary tune comes from combining his traditional A're A're panpipe called "Au" with modern guitar dimension in it. Off course his natural unique voice is rare.
