the original ones looked awful and used, and they were mass-produced anyway, something being old or pre-owned doesn't make it unique. are people in 20 years going to be like this over ikea furniture? just because something is old it doesn't make it valuable. she renovated them in her own style and will have an actual use for them instead of going in the trash like they otherwise would have. stop being so ridiculous

She did a great job on the paint, stain and design addition. ... and as I said most people fall in line with that style... but, I'm with you as I preferred the rustic and natural wood of the original.. I don't think it is out dated.. not the natural wood.. 80's was more of that orange oak. her's was more of a drift wood look.. certainly not out dated.. I hear ya. lol

The nightstands didn't match like I said in the video... so I had to get rid of the details that didn't match and make them match. They just sold and I made $430 on this flip so it was worth!
Possibly the most warranted paint over DIY I've seen in a long time. The color, stain, new detail, hardware...everything is gorgeous

You should've kept that lovely burnt-in design and the natural wood grain. The unique beauty of the piece was removed.

When you stain pine, you might consider using a conditioner first, to make the stain uptake more even.
Oh I did use one just didn't mention it since it's hard to fit everything in a minute video ☺️

Good, unique doesn’t equal good. Sometimes being different just makes things ugly or stupid
Good transformation but it does annoy me that you reshaped the base at the front but kept the sides as original base instead of doing them also
