Right through Corona (where I grew up) and through Lake Elsinore (where I still live today).

I drive down this route all the time since I live in Lake Elsinore. I was probably passing by on the other side of the freeway when you were filming this :P

That sounds highly possible lol. I also just drove the Ortega highway about a couple weeks ago. Enjoyed it very much!

Awesome! The music goes with the vid! Corona always has slow moving traffic lol

Totally wasn't aware of that fact. That was why I got stuck for quite a long time in CA-91 before going to I-15.

+American Roads And it's actually surprising that traffic isn't much worse on I-15 than it is, for two reasons. First, as seen in this video, I-15 has only three through lanes from CA-60 to I-215 in Murrieta. Frankly, I think they should widen I-15 by at least one through lane in each direction, something there's plenty of room in the median for.
The second reason it's such a surprise that I-15 isn't much worse than it is (and it's even getting bad in areas you wouldn't expect) is because it is the only alternate route between the greater Los Angeles area and San Diego to I-5, and I-5 is frequently bad from Del Mar pretty much all the way to Los Angeles, and that includes Camp Pendleton. I-15 is the only way around I-5, but CA-91 is the most southerly E-W freeway that connects I-5 and I-15, and that frequently creates a real mess in Corona.
And it's for that reason that I-15 traffic heading for Riverside County frequently backs up as far as Old Highway 395 (3.5 miles SOUTH of CA-76) during afternoon commutes, and I fear that commute may back up into the San Diego-to-Escondido commute, as commuters try to use CA-78 to NB I-15 to evade I-5 traffic heading to Orange and Los Angeles counties.

Very nice work! That Sony camera has really made a diff. in your videos, as has, undoubtedly, experience and acquired skillset.
I've taken this route to the 76 (SE of Temecula) to get to Mt. Palomar (telescope/observatory).
The road around the summit is quite scenic and may be a good place for road vids (I tried "videoing" it many years back but the cameras were not as sophisticated then, so the results were disappointing),
Again, AR, great job on this project!

It is quite funny to remember how I was quite insistent on staying with my smartphone. Buying a standalone camcorder sounded like an overkill back then, not to mention the quite steep price. But hey, after taking the leap and grab the Sony camcorder, I surely don't regret it now :)
Sweet, I have never been to Mt. Palomar. I sure will check out the route in the future. Thanks for sharing!

I've been a bit busy - and, I don't have any good footage to produce right now. However, wait until December - I'll have a big surprise.
