- Arkansas police said they found firearms and molotov cocktails inside a stolen U-Haul van that led police on a dangerous high-speed chase on February 7.
The video shows a police car overturning several times after performing a tactical vehicle maneuver to end the chase. The officer inside was treated at a local hospital and released with minor injuries, according to police.

@@OutwardDivergenceit does not work every time lmao. It works when you are chasing down a U-haul van. But I have seen plenty of chases where cops end up crashing and the guy gets away because he’s in a fast car.
The crazy thing is, they usually end up picking him up later on through his description or license plate. So the entire chase isn’t even necessary. It’s just putting innocent lives at risk so these cops can have their adrenaline rush. I’m glad in my city they ban car chases within city limits because it is unnecessarily dangerous.

@@rickkonesniisince uhauls are the favorites of smugglers, it’s likely the tag was reported stolen and picked up by an automatic license plate reader (ALPR). Also could be something simple as a fled traffic stop, which gets police very suspicious of why someone would’ve fled.

The cop probably had experience with doing a pit maneuver but wasn't thinking straight or looking at how fast he was going, your aren't supposed to use pit maneuvers at really high speeds but when at a certain speed can be perfectly safe and most and almost every time very useful

U-Haul insurance doesn't cover when used for crime.
U-Haul change their policy if you don't show them proof of your own full coverage policy they make you pay 15 dollars a day insurance thru them plus the daily rental.. just used one recently and was shocked

My brother insists on getting the insurance because he rented a van one time to haul scrap metal and he had the scrap yard use an electromagnet to pull the scrap out. Needless to say, the scrap dropped when it was no longer supported by the frame and ripped the bumper off. The insurance covered it.

I don't think that one was ASP but you can see some of the others were.
They have some of the most lax pursuit laws, where as a lot of other places have various do not pursue regs and protocols which occur at certain speeds or based on vehicle type, like some states wont pursue motorcycles. In order to avoid liability and to prevent accidents or injuries/death.
Basically the only thing that will stop Arkansas cops from pursuit is death itself, its not a matter of if they can stop em just how and when, and how wild. Collateral damage is often also not minimized all that great, so best give em room if you're passing through the state.

And this is the reason the "pit maneuver" should be illegal. They have a sling device available to law enforcement that stops a vehicle SAFELY.
There are devices out there where police would never have to do a pit maneuver ever again. The device is a lot cheaper than the cost of a car and avoids potentially fatal accidents.

Extremely high end slow motion cameras can barely record the process.
Bruh, they come out at like 300mph inflate and deflate in a matter of seconds. I've seen one set of as a demonstration actually was kinda cool. It happens so fast you blink, and it's over.
It's also why it's so important to follow other car safety rules. I can only imagine what would happen if you put your feet on the dash riding shotgun and then got in a wreck.
