Those who say "he isnt able to speak english", to them, are u able to speak hindi or any other Indian language? English is not our mother tongue yet most of the Indians are pretty fluent english speakers and I must say that Indians are gifted in terms of learning languages cz India probably has the largest linguistic diversity. People in India can speak Hindi which is one of the official language of India, English as well as thier specific regional (state) language. Other foreign languages such as russian, french, spanish etc are also being taught in the schools of India lately. So we also know languages of other countries. Basically, majority of Indians can speak atleast 3 languages n those are Hindi, English and their regional language such as marathi, gujrati, punjabi , bengali etc. My question is, do all or atlst majority of people having english as their mother tongue speak any language other than english?

The people who are commenting he doesn't need a translator should realize that American accent is quite different from Indian. If he fails to understand the accent he might feel bad about it because he is just an eight year old child. This doesn't mean Indians are dumb.
He's just eight and he's confidence made me so happy. And he got Ellen so well and he shows his ability to reply by himself. That's impressive. I loved this kid. He's so inspiring, if you had something great to perform have the confidence to show it and to prove it to People. Confidence is the key of success.
