Went to local congressman with buckets of used syringes collected from there. And started one of first Green thumb gardens in the neighborhood..

I grew up there lived at 170 ave D, apt 9 E went to ps 34 in the 60 three 70s , We had a garden at ps 34 also.
Hipsters and Yuppies would've never dared moving into the true Loisida during the 70's and 80's
