You are far braver than I, Renegade! The thought of having to tear into my dash at some point strikes fear into the deepest, darkest place in my soul. I can wait to see what the next project you hinted at will be!

Haha thanks man. Its tedious work, but not too too bad...careful planning and taking it step by step makes it less daunting
Thanks, it should be a really good one. Im just setting the ground work now

Ah yes, the infamous spaghetti ball as they call it. This is very tedious and at times frustrating work as most wiring/ electrical work is. I've put over 20 yards of new wiring in my 244 for the 6000 watt blaupunkt sound system I designed. 4 Amps, 4 6x 9s,
2- 6.5s, 2- 4 inch mids, 2- 1 inch tweets, 2- 12s, and 1- 15 inch woofer. Amps are neatly tucked away in the trunks tool compartment. Secondary battery is in the middle of the spare tire. 300 amp fuse w/ 2/o gauge trickle feed. This is NOT easy/ fun work...But as you say it pays off to do it yourself and not pay a fortune for someone else to do it. I'm also not done! And when I upgrade the alternator, thing will get more monstrous to say the least. Just this last week I put over 20 hours of work on laying rattletrap sound proofing in the two front doors, back right, and engine bay firewall. and the projects continue, so keep at it and proceed with the good work Renegade!

Sounds awesome man; id love to see it. Im still planning on adding more sound proofing to mine, but not more of the stereo. Your project sounds boss though.
Wiring is one of the most pain in the butt types of projects; I cant wait to be done it
