A positive update on KAVERI engine program. We should not be short sighted. Fighter jet engines should be combination of foreign OEM & Local. In long run Bharat will be benefited.

We'll always need foreign inputs - without them we'll always be lagging.

Kaveri engine program so far funding 500 million dollars. One Western engine development cost 20 billion dollars. Chinese engine program cost 50 billion dollars. But somehow Indians think we should have top quality engine... World doesn't run on magic.

    • @manofsan
      @manofsan Před 17 dny +1

But those other programs achieved revenues to pay for their development costs. Meanwhile Indian program is lagging forever while generating no revenues. Time is money, time is opportunity, time is of the essence. Better not to waste time. India is way behind, and endlessly lagging instead of catching up.

Kaveri producing dry thrust of 47KN exceeding original design requirement so definitely far more than money's worth.

There are innumerable videos on internet on the progress made in respect of Kaveri Engine. I came to view this video thinking that something new has happened. But for the most part, the video was repetition of already what is on the internet. It went on and on about the history of the engine, hurdles encountered, delay etc. etc. instead of coming to the point. The intention was to create some video and to fill some content and stretch it to some length of time to garner viewership and through it money !

    1. What metal and alloy used for Kaberi jet turbine and combost chamber, sensers, wires...
    2. What things increase thrust? Good fuel and best turbine with best combution chamber with best facility of inlet and outlet air at low as well as high altitude.
    3. Best system for controling hot outlet air as a result, it may control thrust as our requirements.
    5. For making a jet engine, What are componets required?
    a. Make a list.
    b. Make the research on that compnets. Observe theoreticaly, how each componet has a unique role.
    c. Design each componet samples. Think how we can make best components with latest.
    d. ...
    e. How caberi engine can on/off system like byke engine i.e user friendly....
    ...
    6. What will be the weight of fighter jet? How much payload lifting target .....
Then decide weght of the engine and their compnents.

I think the Kavari engines are going to be amazing .Last year India developed its own single crystal alloys for the fins which is whats holding India back frm producing the engine cores and that is the main thing that holds any country back frm making there own engine but now India has its own alloys and i think this is also the reason why France are given us the full tech on there engines as they know India are only a few weeks away from being able to make there own special alloys so might as well make a deal India are going to find out any ways

It took yesrs for such companies of today to develop the same. We need to be self reliant in the aeroplane engine so as to withstand the bullying by the nations who have this technology at present
