LOVE ME SOME AEA!!!!!!!!!! Yes, ...you answered the question perfectly! Thanks! Great show! 🥁👍😎
@@metzilla thanks for the feedback Jeff! I’m glad you enjoyed it! 🤘🏻🙏🏻😎👍🏻
Earl, I just finished your latest AEA and loved it. I really appreciate all the work you wet through to answer my questions.
I found it very interesting that when you were hitting your Gretsch set during your answering the high cost of heads and the snare buzz questions, I heard the naked sounds that I was referring to. You were hitting the cymbals, and there wasn’t any type of sound altering, just a plain old cymbal sound, and the same was with the drums. You hit your rack toms, and they were a regular old drum sound complete with snare buzz. It Wouk be like walking into a drum store and sitting down behind a set and starting to play. Just plain old drums. That is exactly what I wanted to hear.
Great show, my friend.🙏❤️🙏❤️👏👏👏
I’m glad you enjoyed my camera’s compression. Any mic alters the sound a little, but I stand by my statement music and drums have to be mixed together! That’s what I do to make drum covers!
Your other one is “Voices Inside My Head.” Looking forward to seeing your work! Thanks for the mention and answering my question! BTW- listening/watching with my AEA coffee mug! 😁
@@RichRawDawgdrums I’m getting old Rich … 😳 … thanks for the help 😉😂😂😂
Great episode! Thank you so much for answering my question. Cool to know! So I'll keep that in mind to change them in a while. My snare drums came with US remo versions. Just the toms came with China Remo versions. 🤘🤘🤘
@@3L3V3NDRUMS thanks for the question Toby! If your drums sound good then don’t sweat it! But I will say … change out the China bottom snare heads they are not very good! Tom heads … not a problem, but I change all China Remo heads on a snare drums that came with either China batter or snare side heads pretty fast! 🙏🏻👍🏻🤘🏻😎
Nice show Earl👍🏻👍🏻 .... It's nice that people ask Earl everything ... I'll have to see if I have a more sensible question next time 😆😆😆😆😆😆
Thanks for watching Lutz! I dragged you into the show 😂😂😂 I knew it wasn’t a proper question! Thanks for watching my friend! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🥁👍🏻🤘🏻

🔥☔️
Thank you earl.
@@jameslyons1661 thanks for the question Jimmy!
Another great listen. Toby Mac was from DC Talk. Agape was a lot of fun. A 40 minute set flies by in two seconds including that rush for set up and tear down for the next band. Thanks again, really appreciate what you do for the drumming community. For next time, Do you have any world percussion, hand drums etc, that you use or play with regularly ?
Thanks for the feedback Vince! I’m glad your set went well! Yea, 40 minutes is a fast rush! I don’t think we got more that 40 minutes either! Great question for next time! Thanks! 🙏🏻🤘🏻👍🏻😎
I’ll be watching this tonight when I have more time,,,,, I can’t wait
@@bryandrums32 thanks for watching Bryan … whenever you get to it! You gave to watch in small bites! It’s hard to eat at one sitting! 🙏🏻👍🏻🤘🏻😎
@@earldrum your totally right!!!!! That’s what I’ll do,,,,, when I wake up in the next few hours!!!!!!!
Happy 4th of July weekend, Earl.
@@stomptheelites happy Fourth of July weekend to you too my friend! Thanks for watching!
Another good one Earl 🥁👌
@@Kingy-23drums thanks for the feedback and watch my friend! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👍🏻🤘🏻😎
Yes the prices have definitely jumped and the Canadian prices are so much more than the American prices.
One example is The lower priced Ludwig Supralite snare is listed at $199.99 at Sweetwater but sells in Canada 🇨🇦 for $359.99 , the same drum. I don’t know the American sales tax, it’s 13% here in Canada.
A 10” Remo head is around $30.00 now, average drum sticks around $20-24 😊 have a nice weekend Earl 😊
WOW!!!! That's crazy!!!!
@@The-Tired-Drummer I here you Ken! Out sales tax is 7% in our state … it’s different in each state. We don’t have a VAT tax in the US. But inflation is very bad these days … buy less … keep more! Thanks for watching!
@@vincegomez1212 agreed! 🤘🏻👍🏻
Always a great wealth of info! Great AEA :)
@@ARDrummer thanks for watching Adam! I can’t seem to do a short show anymore! Maybe I never did short shows! 🤣😂🤘🏻🙏🏻😎👍🏻
Awesome talk show Earl👍

@@mickeyf3730 thanks for the feedback Mickey! Im glad you enjoyed it!
The lightweight Yamaha stands are Crosstown Advanced.
@@brianlaughlin8974 Brian … you are correct! Thanks for the help! I’m getting old! 😎😎😎😎🤘🏻🙏🏻👍🏻 thanks for watching too!
@@earldrum Yes, we are all getting old. I didn't know the name of the line either. I looked them up to check them out because what you described sounded like a good option. Enjoyed the drum chat.
@@brianlaughlin8974 thanks for watching Brian … I went the Tama classic hardware route, but the Yamaha crosstown hardware seems like a winner too!
👍
@@JackNiles thanks for the feedback Jack! 🙏🏻🤘🏻👍🏻😎🥁
Great show 👍
@@offbeat74 thanks for watching my friend!
@@earldrum Earl what do you think of the new generation cymbal smiths??
@@offbeat74 you know that is a great question for the next show be I’m going to the Music City Drum Show and will have a chance to meet some of these guys in person! I’ll let you know next AEA! Thanks for the question!
My kids goes right out of high school and makes $17.50 an hour full time at Walmart. There are no " minimum wage" jobs anymore. Yeah, it will affect head prices.
@@jimflys2 you are right! No middle class to buy goods means less retail jobs. Music stores are closing like crazy. Sam Ash is gone and Guitar Center is close to gone! Something has to give!
