I've observed a distinctl absence of traffic island marshals at this Your de France, for the biggest annual sporting event in the world, given how much teams and riders invest in and plan and entire season around, and the money ASO have, it's completely unprofessional and unacceptable.

Yesterday was a really bad luck crash & he was able to continue & finish.
His first crash wasn't really a crash, but a slow speed slide on the decent, which he got up quickly & powered on to the finish.
I'd say he's fed up & de-motivated mentaly...& so decided to stop, rather than any physical injuries stopping him.

Maybe he will light up Vuelta, but again hopefully he won’t crash…

    Roglic has no fractures
He sd stay and race, moving the body is best remedy
    Tho a 3d crash is a possibility
Another stupid dangerous course, and cycling again does zero, while aso, which loves money, makes all the money, and ALL the tv money

Unfortunate for Primoz as probably his last chance of ever winning the Tour although even before the crash it didn't look like he was going make the Top of the podium...????

I can’t understand why he dropped out. Today is an easy day for the GCs. He should start and decide after the race to continue or not. He drop out very easy in the last years. I’m really sorry for him, buy other guys were also on the road and try to continue the tour.

I agree, I'd say he's more mentally fed up & de-motivated, rather than any injuries stopping him carrying on .

@@keepitreal1547 yes, it’s mental problem, but this is the moment Rolf Aldag had to be the boss of the team and push Roglic to continue the tour. Look at Wout van Art, he crashed very hard and is still in the race and rides very hard for the team.

No, if so, the Dr's wouldn't have allowed him to carry on. There is strict protocol on this in Pro Cycling.

Yes, but some team bosses will push a rider in this instance & others won't. I'd say Aldag has so much respect for Roglic, that if he says he doesn't want to carry on...then he won't challenge him.

Nickname "Crash Roglic" - he's had a lot of bad luck, but he doesn't anticipate bad luck as well as other top riders.

Just stick to whatever race Pogacar and Vingegaard and Remco are not riding, lol.
He has no chance against those 3 anyways.
Delusional if he or even his team thinks otherwise.

of course chances have been small - but he is the (if I remember correctly the only!) rider having beaten all 3 in big races, and his form has increased in the last days

@@dilshanjayatissa7189 You saying again after today?
Pogacar told Remco to not worry about Roglic and he was right on many levels, lol.
Remco is the best of the rest.
