J E Mainer - RUN MOUNTAIN

JE Mainer and his band playing RUN Mountain in a video recorded in the 1960's. JE Mainer was a fiddle and banjo player who recorded many records starting in the 1930's and played up through the early 1970's. I do not have the rights to this recording but believe it is a noteworthy video to preserve and share for those who enjoy his music.

Yes sir yes sir Now That's What I Call real country Mountain bluegrass music right there now if they was a lot more music and videos of men like that was around it possibly might even be a little bit better world you know that that means it was way way before my time but regardless he was one of my main Bluegrass Heroes J E minor

Used to play music with J E daughter in Concord, North Carolina. We had some great times playing out places. They all gone now.

Yes. This was his back yard. The stable and his old workshop are gone but the house is still there and owned by the church next door.
