    I have definitely had that issue with scraping on coyote hides. I will definitely follow your advice on combing and brushing. Thanks again

    Loved all the info. Thanks so much. So you don't tumble your furs after cutting? We have talked about this before.

      I comb or brush out any edges i cut before sewing, this really elimates a lot of loose hair from happening. I've tumbled fur in my dryer, using air fluff NO HEAT for 10 min I also have dryer balls that help. I've had no issues with loose hair after that. If a pelt is scraped to close in dressing it can scalp the hair foliar on the leather side, this can cause issues of hair tending to fall off from fur side as their is nothing left for the hair foliar to hold onto. Youllactuallynoitce the leather side sometimes looks like hairs are pulled thru. Not sure if thi could be your issue. Its more common in fox pelts.
