      Removable scotch tape, painters tape or post it tape. Also there is a new "purple" tape. All have delicate adhesive to remove easier.

    HI - LOVE this technique. I can't wait to try it. I will be getting the Gemini Junior for a Mother's Day/Birthday gift. You refer to one of the plates as the 'milky' plate. Is this a special plate I need to buy separately, or does it come with the Gemini Jr.?

    • @NancyStamps
      @NancyStamps  Před 6 lety +2

      Hi Korkie, I got my Gemini Jr from HSN and it came with all the plates. My only word of advice is put the metal shim away. I never use it and it cut me. :(

    • @NancyStamps
      @NancyStamps  Před 5 lety

      Hello Sandy. Yes, I work long hours and when I get home I run away to the basement and try to crank out one or two cards. I am very organized which helps. I also look at Pinterest or CZcams when my mojo is down. My kids are 12 and 5 so they keep themselves busy most of the time.

  • @newsletters1982
    @newsletters1982 Před 6 lety +1

    Why not tape the cardstock itself down so it doesn't shift? Would that affect the cutting?

    • @NancyStamps
      @NancyStamps  Před 6 lety

      Sunnys Musings yes it would cut all the way through, the die is designed to cut all the way and separate.

    • @newsletters1982
      @newsletters1982 Před 6 lety +1

      I don't think I communicated my question very well. When you hang the paper off the edge, as you do, I fully understand that is necessary to keep it from cutting all the way through. I got it! And so appreciate your showing that technique - opened up my world! The tip I was asking or suggesting regarding the opposite edge of the paper from your die. When you put it on the platform, due to some of it hanging off, the paper tends to slip. Why not put a piece of tape on that end, simply to keep the paper from shifting. It doesn't appear to me that doing so would affect the die cutting. Thanks for your video. I loved it and so helpful. I see some beautiful cards coming up in my world.

    • @NancyStamps
      @NancyStamps  Před 6 lety +2

      Sunnys Musings oh you mean tape it to the plate? Yes, you could. I was using the magnetic shim which helps from shifting.

    • @newsletters1982
