@@brayden2254 well 30 years ago Peter was a broke teenager who had problem with women and had no couple, no family, he was an outcast to the superhero world and today hes no longer a teen hes a grown ass man and hes still broke, has no stable romance, has no family AND still Is an outcast while Nightwing went from being a sidekick to his own superhero, he actually Is More heroic than Peter cause when he got money he actually helped people with It and Made bludhaven a better place funding charities, he become the leader of his own team AND the most important part is that he's happy and enjoys life he has a family, while they write Peter miserable to make him seem relatable but he's a grown ass man like thats just petty

I guess, Nightwing is the perfect combo of Superman's attitudes, batman outlook and ideals, while being grounded, believable, yet still powerful. He does make a great poster child for DC as a whole.

I forget what story it's in but there's a scene where Dick is doubting himself, questioning if he'll ever be ready to join the League and Batman reassures him by telling him "What I'm saying is once you're ready you'll _lead_ us." I'm so happy that's starting to pay off.
I remember that I love that rebirth was hinting towards that and now we have the pay off.
if i remember it correctly it was in titans when batman requested for the titans to lay low then dick asked something about him joining the justice league then batman replied with something like "your'e not gonna join the JL, you're gonna lead it"

We are coming up on 83 years of our beloved Grayson! He carried the company in the 80s with New Teen Titans and has never faltered narratively - he truly is the best of them and the best of us! Inspires both fictional characters in the narrative and readers alike!

Really love that Nightwing and Deathstroke were at the center of all this. I have always felt that Deathstroke is the Joker (or Lex Luthor) to Nightwing's Batman (or Superman) so it's nice to see that be more set in stone. Having it end with Nightwing being the one in charge was so wholesome to see too. Dick Grayson has always been one of my top 5 comic book characters of all time and to see him get the love he has always deserved legit brings a tear to my eye. My favorite was seeing Batman praise him at the end and say that he's proud of him. I cried like a baby when I read that.
I'm 24. Nightwing's been my absolute favorite DC character since Middle School, and I made a Facebook page/group about him back then (and it's still up with like 5K followers or something). This is absolutely amazing đđđ

That Black Adam film defo influenced this story. Since they wanna push him more towards a Hero, but Anti-Hero. But if he becomes more hero-like. Does that mean will be seeing more of Sabbac or are we gonna get a new Shazam like villain. I wonder?
I remember in one of the DC animated shows Dick says that he doesn't want to be "The Batman" and well...now he's much more than just the Batman.

Dick Grayson is honestly the stand up image of a hero relatable never gives up isnât too brutal but can be when needed as seen when everybody called him out for not being Batman when he filled in

This is what he was always meant to be. At least before the New 52 came around. They were building up to Dick being in the center stage. The heart of the DCU.
Then 2011 happened and erased so much of his history with everyone.
Thankfully Rebirth started putting things back on track.
About damn time DC's best character got the spotlight. Nightwing has always been my favorite DC superhero, so now seeing him get all the attention and love he deserves is amazing! Nightwing as the new face of DC! The future looks fantastic!

Idk where this is going but i hope Nightwing gets his own permanent lair and his own permanent side kick. It's about time for him to be his own hero with his own legacy outside of the Titans
I don't know if I would want him to have a sidekick but more of an equal duo thing. Like his batfamily switching in and out with each other. I'd really like to see him and redhood work together, something near to how they are in Gotham knights. Like Jason isn't too hard headed and Nightwing doesn't exactly have a problem with his methods.

I love Batman but I love that one of batsmanâs dreams was hoping for nightwing to be the best version of himself rather than forcing the bat mantle on him.
After killing him in so many dumb ways or having him take Lâs after so many years. Our boy is finally getting the love he deserves. The son of Batman can now be on equal footing with his father be and be named his own hero Nightwing.

I feel like this "Death to all Meta humans" is an interesting hook for a new storyline I actually haven't seen it explored before and I actually kinda like it plus bringing The Light from YJ is great. Still hoping for a season 5.

Those 2 mystery characters at the end. One of them looks like a Joker infected Ghost maker. And the other is some sort of character in a custom Batman costume, complete with cowl ears and with a crazy bat signal on their chest.
This was rad as hell. After some crisis exhaustion, it's really nice to have a solid story. I love how well they're implementing legacy characters. It's working really well... FINALLY đ

That ending was absolutely insane. Loved every part of it. Iâm so intrigued with the epilogue though, like what? All meta humans? But going back, that black Adam scene was just so freakin awesome. Marvel needs to take some notes on how to write an entertaining story

It looks like they struck a really great balance in resetting their universe this time. It reminds me a lot of the original post-crisis DCU, which I think a lot of people would agree was the best one they ever did. I really thought they were gonna gank poor old Ted Kord yet again, but there he was hale & hearty at the end. They just need to stop drawing him with underwear & give him the shorts look Paris Cullens did in his original DC series.

Teth creating a DCU Black Adam Corp was a FIRE PANEL đđđ, I love the stories where heroes get power upgrades much like in blackest night. And APPARENTLY DC is taking Ques from Greg Weisman and that young justice crew putting Nightwing at the forefront WITH Waller heading the counsel of light. Good on DC for embracing the younger legacy heroes that have been here
Really hyped for the future of Nightwing. Richard Grayson is IMO the most important hero of the DC Universe outside the 7 founding members of the Justice League. Heck he predates most of them and has grown the most in 8 decades. Finally front and center as he deserves.

I wish we got another sick Green Lantern arc. Focus on the phantom ring and ultra-violent light. Perhaps the ultra-violent could fuse with the phantom ring creating a brand new corps. Starting a new war, since the phantoms can use all the emotional spectrum, they believe that the other corps need to be updated. They could be dangerous if they were able to use all the emotional spectrum but without the negatives of constantly changing. That's when the ultra violent light comes in. Allowing the users to tap into it without problems.

Iâm nearing the end of S3 of young justice. Finally watching it. Kinda get the same vibe from this issue. But I love Knightwing. Heâs definitely in my top 3 heroâs of the DCU. Glad to see heâs finally getting the recognition he deserves.
I loved the ending of this new crisis. Not only does it make the justice league think about things going forward but also what it means to them. Also FINALLY NIGHTWING GETS WHAT HE DESERVES. I was so happy that he was the core of the end and new beginning bc he was always my favorite sidekick turned own hero. Plus he didn't want to be the Batman he wanted to be better.

The only way Nightwing can truly shine is if he moves on from Batmans shadow. Wally West is looked as equal to Barry Allen flash. And Nightwing has the character and popularity to stand on his own.
Batman himself said that Nightwing is a clearer and purer version of what Batman was supposed to mean/stand for.

I am glad DC has been giving Nightwing the attention and character development he deserves! His most recent comics have been some of my favorite stories since I started reading comics a few years ago.

Dick Grayson was already the most important hero in the DC Universe. In Infinite Crisis, Earth-2 Superman wanted Batman to join him and Alexander Luthor in bringing back their ideal Earth because everyone on New Earth was a worse version of their world. Bruce asked if Dick Grayson was worse on their world, and E2 Superman admitted that he wasn't. He was just as good. This did two things. 1) It proved to Batman that his mission on this Earth was right. If he could help Dick Grayson become the ideal version of himself then his mission was worth it. 2) It showed E2 Supes that the ideal was possible on New Earth.
This was all before Dick led the assault on Alexander Luthor and saved New Earth. Superman is of course the crux of all DC continuity because of the meta narrative surrounding him, but Dick Grayson is second place to Superman in terms of in-universe significance. Infinite Crisis is the story of the death of New Earth if not for Dick Grayson simply being Dick Grayson.

Iâve said it before (here probably) and Iâll say it again: Dick Grayson and Peter Parker occupy the same role in their universes. Theyâre not the strongest or the smartest, theyâre just the best. And itâs genuinely because of their humanity.
