I think with this solo and all the girls solos is that it has to be catchy, also the choreography has to be easy for people to do. With all BLACKPINK MV’s and all the girls solos, dance companies and just individuals have been able to re-create the dances. They do them and make their own videos on it, with LISA‘s I remember she did say in some interview that they wanted everybody to be able to sing and dance along to it. we know that LISA can slay, we know that LISA is one of the best if not the best dancer, but she needed to make moves or have moves that people could re-create because if they were too hard I’m pretty sure people would complain or be disappointed. Also I think she wanted to show that she can sing because we mostly see her rap.
I mean everyone expects a hard choreo since its Lisa, but always remember she's an idol who has to sing, rap & dance at the same time. She has to perform live and imagine a hard choreo with no pause of singing for her since it's a solo song

Your not wrong. A lot of people expected the dance to be more explosive/extravagant because it's Lisa, we know she can dance. But Lisa said that she made the dance easier this time so Blinks could dance along. As for the song itself it's ok. Not bad by any means but not great. At least for me. Her signature rap verses really make the song.

Dizz is correct. They’re having solo not just to top that BLACKPINK feel, they have different versatility and on how they really portray themselves. I know that a lot of people have high expectations because its LISA, but for me this is her like you can really see her personality. I think blackpink can never be perfect and it’s good that there are people that don’t vibe in this song and that’s okay for me because its their opinion then. And this is an old school type of music so I know that not all people will like this song. For me, this is just a debut and she show more side of her. Thank for the reaction.
She said the song is about her in the interview.. we can see that from the MV different style.. fashion..aura meaning different side of her who is she and what she can do and yes this is just a small tease of her and she said this is only the beginning. The gold dress is Thai traditional dress
consist of “sabai” that made from traditional brocade golden silk with ancient pattern and the head piece is called “ radklao”. The outfits is also decorated with Swarovski’s crystal. This outfit was made by ASAVA, same brand that made miss universe Thailand 2016’s outfits. So it’s made especially for Lisa
There are 3 famous traditional head piece for female dancer which is Chada , Radklao and Kiao
1.Chada is the biggest one ,and quite heavy. Chada has front frame and sideboards so it cover all of your hair.Only use for formal ceremony and propitious event cause it’s actually a crown.
2. Radklao is the one Lisa is wearing. Radklao place on center of your head , don’t have front frame so we can still see the hair. Some have sideboards but some don’t and the peak is lower than chada
3.Kiao is the smallest. The peak is low and bottom base is similar to lotus and use to cover a hair bun
Also, the castle behind her is Phanom Rung stone castle at Buriram which is her hometown in Thailand.

About the choreography, it was intentional. She said this in an interview, she wanted a choreography for everyone to dance and do her dance challenge on tiktok. The choreography at Lisa's hard level will be in the song “Money”

Lisa's project came with much anticipation and high expectations. When I first listened to Lalisa it didn't hit for me right away. I think I had this idea in my head of what she'd be doing or how it was supposed to be. I'm sure that somehow that affected my first impressions of the song. I know my taste in music and how much I love Lisa's style so I wondered why wasn't I feeling it. I decided to give it a few more listens and let go of all of my preconceptions. After the second or third listen something clicked and I was able to appreciate the music and performance in front of me. People will compare the past, present, and future but for me this was a banger that grew on me. Pretty sure Lalisa just brainwashed me a little though :p

In my opinion, the song LALISA is the opening song. For those who doesn't know K-pop, and Blackpink. From the beginning in the MV, telling the story of a journey that has been racially abused all the time. But look at Lisa now how far she's come. Lisa hypnotizes the haters by calling my name. In the scene of Thai culture call that place "Prasat Khao Phanom Rung" Lisa's hometown Burirum province and on September 10 every year, there will be a phenomenon of solar alignment the sun shines through all the sanctuary's 15 doors, the same day as Lisa's solo.

lisa was actually behind all of the production mv concept , styling , and she was also credited as part of the choreography if you kept up with lisa's interview's she actually wanted the choreohraphy to be easy for people / fans to follow lisa was even happy and wanted everyone to do the tiktok / dance challenge she wanted people to copy her dance on the other hand lisa did say her other song MONEY has more harder choreography than LALISA lisa actually also chose and picked LALISA and her other song MONEY as her favorite tracks for her solo when she heard the DEMO / song because its 100% her style lyrically wise not alot of people will like it but the song itself LALISA actually showcased EVERYTHING fans / blinks love and admire about lisa especially the DUALITY in the music video is very LISA .. The thing is the Lisa in Blackpink was meant to be this badass rapper who has to have strong stage presence all the time while surrounded with singers who's more toned down on the badass side than her. The Lisa in LALISA is what she is. Is what she wants to go with. Y'all just used to her side by side with her bandmates that's why she stands out because what she does is different from the other girls. Now that she's alone, the "flaws" can easily be seen. Honestly this song suits her. She did what she had to do but the choreographers did her dirty by wanting to have a choreo that can easily be done by anyone. That's what they're going for but Lisa can do more than that.

Not "flaws" really, just not what we were looking for! AND who she in within the group serves one specific purpose; who she is as a solo artist can be something different!! I think maybe they just don't want to show yet all what she can do, this is just a tease this is just a beggining for her solo same fo the other members.. I'm sure there's more in the future
the choreography is intended to be like that since it is a flex, hiphop song which the song more focus on her rap. and the song itself was inspired from old school yg style. many people wouldn't like this because, it has pure substance of YG there's no modern hiphop in there. it's understandable why some didn't like it. but understand that BLACKPINK or Lisa is under YG which is known as HIPHOP LABEL. you can't expect her or their artist to do hard choreography all the time. esp when their focus is to make their fans dance with them easily, or vine with them specifically in terms of live performance.

Lee Jung is the choreographer and if you don't know her, she is the one who choreo behind Itzy's mafia in the morning, twice songs and many more. so be cafeful what you say. the choreographer is just serving what the artist wanted to established.

Lalisa is the song that describes who is Lisa. Her different sides as an artist. Fitting for a debut song. But Lisa gave us Money her 2nd song, which is what I think you are expecting her to do. Also, Money is the song that Lisa really wanted to do herself she shared. Badass Lisa is what you defo will get there.

Imo Lisa doesn't need to prove her dancing skills anymore ofc she could do a lot harder choreo but I feel they wanted to present it this way. The song is catchy and honestly I can't stop listening to it. She said this is her, this is what she likes. The fact that she is so versatile in terms of she can do basically anything, she nailed this one. And we will see a lot of her in different kind of genre hopefully in the future. The choreo was intentional. She wanted everyone to be able to dance to her. if it was to hit you right in the face like she normally does, the gp wouldn't really bother trying it more than once coz it would be too hard to follow. If you want an in the face choreo you'd have to wait till she performs her b-side MONEY because it has a powerful dace break. If you look deeper into the lyrics and into the symbolism of the MV maybe you'd appreciate it more its obv up to you guys. Even watch her interviews about it. It's ok if you didn't' like it, its not everyone cup of tea.
If you really need to defend a song so much its not that great overall. You love it bc you love her. Most people are not gonna research an artist explanation about symbolism or interviews or reasons of why the dance its not that great, people do that if they already love the song so much that they want to know more. Everything was pretty meh, the Lalalisa love me i think i would found it fun if i was a kid, the dancing was not impressive for what is expected from her and no i wont wait for the bside bc you should put your best try in your first single, why i would want to see another video or song from her if the first one didnt stick with me. The sound was “all over the place” to probably show the black and pink concept that Lisa does indeed embody. It was big scaled and flashy and actually pretty memorable with the pole dancing and her paying homage to her Thai culture. It all all of Lisa tbh, and it made sense why the dance was scaled down because we’re in the era of dance trends and kpop idols are taking to TikTok to showcase the signature parts of their dance lately, she doesn’t really need to showcase much of her dance talent anymore because she’s done too many projects to undermine it. The chorus was playful but also catchy and YG is KNOWN for empty choruses tbh, if you don’t like it then just say that. Don’t come for someone else’s subjective opinion and undermine it because they’re a fan ??

When I first watched it I was like okay I love the basic sound of it so different from your usual heavily produced bp title grande. As someone who biased Lisa for a long time, I can say this kind of genre and simplicity (but full of charisma) was what she wanted. Agree with most of these opinions here - I think the performance (Lisa's strong suit) on Fallon helped me like the song more so I think there is something to the video editing along with it not generally being SUPER strong
I think Lisa's Lilifim dances really show how strong of a dancer she is. Much more than with BP. If she did dance hard it woud over shadow the other 3, but they also need to sing at the same time & on stage you can't lip sync. Lilifilms, she's not singing & I'm sure she's going to have to perform this solo on stage while singing. BTS has 7 that they can alternate & so they can dance harder, but BP only have 4 to alternate & Lisa's solo only has 1 (her). Also the part of her is to perform & her personality is very cheerful silly person.

One thing I did noticed since blackpink became so successful is that people put them and them individually in this very high standard that are separate in the way they watch other kpop artists. Because if you really think about it every problem ppl have on their releases somehow is not a problem when it comes to other artists. Listening to their songs and watching their MVs without any expectations and you'll find yourself actually experiencing it.

She did the Choreography on purpose cause it’s easy for everyone to learn it , the song it’s great I really like it ….it’s a catchy song ! I mean that’s marketing , tiktok etc… and they know YG , Lisa and Teddy , they know what they’re doing ! Also !! She is an amazing dancer and rapper but LALISA was her solo debut ! HER SOLO! she can do and put whatever she consider important for HER! that’s what she did ! Maybe she just want to show us another side of her and as a FAN! I really love The song , and the video , everything was DOPE ….however few people is like “I was expected more of her“ dude! She is making her own music on her way with her style! Stop to criticism, just enjoy it and if you don’t like That’s totally fine but don’t be a hater .

The thing is Lisa is literally the definition of blackpink music and that's why some people wasn't surprise with her solo debut and that's fine but Lisa really wanted to showcase herself in the song and her roots because we all know she can slay it with just rap but she did a lil bit of everything here and i promise the song will grew on y'all she's my bias and at first i had the same thought but when i listened to it a few times it grew on me and i realized that it's actually good.
You guys should definetly react to money her bside i really wanna know what you guys feel about it. In this solo Lisa said she wanted to show herself and a side of her that Blinks haven't seen before. With her title track she wanted us to see the different styles and cultures she represents. The song has very Lisa touch to it but i felt its not as powerful as BP regular stuff. All the BP solo's have been songs that reprsent the members personlaity and style of music they associate with
