I'm doing well, have had my breast surgery and completed radiation the other day, I'm on my way to being cancer free. You've always said your husband wants to move back to nz and whatever your decision was to make the move, we know it must've been so hard for you. I hope you're happy and doing well. Leaving my mum was the hardest part. Because I hope she gets visits from her other kids. Even though the nursing home is good and they do their best. I think every parent in those nursing homes should have visits. My kids, they’re alright. They have each other to be around.

I had to mentally tune myself to not get emotional.. I was doing so well too until the plane started to take off and I cried most of the flight and fell asleep not realising I fell asleep and only woke up close to landing.. It was my Mother who I was so sad about. So I prayed again asking God, to please watch over her 😢 I’m here for my husband and also family ❤ I love it here… I feel guilty but I do.

Hi Faye, it's so sad when you have to leave a love family behind, I know the feeling when my Big brother left NZ to Stay in Aussie I was ok until the day he left it bork my heart so much it took me a while to get over even my dad, mum and my little brother. He stay there for a year when he said he is moving back to NZ I was so over the moon that I got my brother back even though I can write to him or ring him.
Hi Natasha! The decision for me to leave was very hard. My mother and my kids was the reason.. But my husband, he’s been yearning for so many years to move back to NZ.

Yes I agree Lia, my husband has given so much of his good health (his words) 😅 for his children to help raise them & wanted so much to move back to NZ. As he says, he isn’t getting any younger & when will I agree to move to NZ with him. Until my brother who lives in NZ and that changed everything & here we are NZ 😅 I miss my mother most of all. My kids call me every day.

BTW, my second daughter is named Sydney because I’ve always wanted to visit Australia. I know you will miss your Mom and she will be taken good care of by your children and the nurses there. I am part Māori and have family in NZ I have not met. I also have a little bit Samoan too but I don’t speak the language… Iwas never taught anything but to speak English. I’m also Chinese … doubt I’ll ever go to China…😊 I believe in the power of prayer and I know you do too. I always tell my kids… prayers keep you safe and brings comfort to your heart. A mother’s prayer is always heard. Blessings to you and your family…♥️

Things changes in our lives that even we didn’t plan on. But our kids, are alright. They have one another to be around. I’m hoping that my siblings visit our mother. I have a sister who lives near the nursing home and brothers who are there also.

Out of 12 siblings myself, I live in UT with my own little fam and every time I visit home (CA) where most of siblings and their families still live. Where my own Momma lives and where my dear beloved Dad and baby brother are laid to rest…it’s always so hard to leave. 💔❤️🩹 Too many tears 😭 always!! 🥺😫So glad your older kids will be looking after your Momma and your younger girls while you guys are in NZ 🇳🇿.
