The attention signal was pitching up and down in this test. The expectation is that the attention signal has to be a steady tone. The TV station is not to blame, it's the tape.
@@ihavenowleftyoutube Actually flaky from hapy tree friend. The VHS that he own was badly damaged, and bascally the audio that was played was well yea. Damaged.
@@oh_noes It was on Betamax and had to have been taken sometime around 1991, like someone said the "All My Children" part was a giveaway to the time this was taken.
this sorta seems like a Emergency Override System alert/Local Acess Alert. Emergency brodcast system however also. old Betamax tape? damn bro i didnt know Betamax tapes survived the aging
If it were recorded circa 1995, then it wouldn't be so damaged as to now. The all my children thing at the end indicates that said tape is over 30 years old. Hence, Betamax tapes were released in 1975
Got to like that Civil Defense logo on that EBS slide!
That’s for New Zealand
@@tchuryanimations Does sort of look like their current CD logo.
0:13 this turned from a test into 21st century humor.
The VHS being distorted and constantly pitching down and up kind of makes this funny. Its like a DJ is messing with a track on a mixer. XD

I think the VHS he's using is very damaged, considering during the EBS test it had difficulty keeping the screen.
@@ItzBIULD That makes sense thanks
