We had these at college....they might not have had much memory of their own... but they've left plenty of memories in my head. :)

It would be great to be able to upgrade the RAM to 32 or 64k. There are a few Tiny Basic programs that need more than 4k

There is a parts list at the board designer's web site: www.smbaker.com/designing-a-memory-io-eta-3400-addon-for-the-et-3400-trainer

Hello, I purchased a board from Scott, all the parts and I am ready to program the chips. The folder pld-wincupl has 3 files. I will only need to use the eta3400.jed file, right?. Will the program wincupl work with the XGecu PRO T48? Thank you!

Yes, you only need the file eta3400.jed and you should be able to directly program it using that file and the software that came with your XGecu PRO T48. The wincupl software would only be used if you wanted to modify the design of the PLD chip for some reason.

I couldn't tell by the video but I'm assuming you are using a USB to serial adapter?

The board has a full RS-232 port as a well as a TTL level serial interface. I used a USB to serial adaptor on the laptop that it was connected to.
