I have changed my mind about silver.

- In this video I talk about silver stacking and how my mind has been changed over the years. When I initially got into silver I was worried about converting my dollars into silver and now I am worried about not buying silver and holding cash. I also unbox some junk silver half dollars and finish the half dollar guardhouse box challenge. When you buy silver you are converting fiat currency into real money. Silver is a great wealth storage tool and I will keep on buying silver in 2022 and buying silver for years to come. I want to use silver as a savings account and as a hedge against inflation. I share a few silver stacking tips and silver stacking advice in this video. When it comes to investing in silver I think that 2022 will be a great year. I think that silver is significantly undervalued and that the price can go much higher. I will silver stacking 2022 and silver investing in 2022 as much as I can. I hope that this video helps you understand how buying silver can protect your wealth and why I am doing it today.

I’ve been stacking for about a decade now. Mostly silver….I stack/buy my silver through my own two ways. I scrap metal (aluminum, copper, brass and light….heavy metal). I kinda get into it and look around my local area for people placing items out by the curb. If I see the people near their house I ask ….is it OK for me to take this ….and sometimes I luck out and they say… “just a minute I got something else”. The second way I save up some money for silver is I have a metal detector and any basic change that I find I tumble it and clean it bring it to the bank and turn it into $20 bills that I convert that to my silver stack. >Wayne
right on! I need to do some more metal detecting this year 🔥🐉
I do the same haha. So cool!
I’m an electrician and I scrap copper and aluminum for silver
I’m not alone!!!
I greatly appreciate you sharing your thoughts and strategy, it’s very much inline with mine. I’ve never sold my silver or gold and I have no intentions on ever selling if I don’t have to.
Been learning a lot. It’s really cool to have people such as yourself doing these videos. Especially for new stackers. Gives you a piece of mind. So thanks bro. ✌🏻
I'm from Singapore and thanks for the sharing and I've started on precious metal investing after I've watched your video a year ago and I'm starting to love stackings with every extra cash I have every single month. Totally change my financial views.😁
Just a little over a year ago I was holding my very first 1 oz. silver Maple. And I thought, “damn, this is going to take forever...”. Well, I don’t have a lot, but I am up to approx. 170oz (among collecting gold, copper, and industrial metals for fun). Basically, what I am saying don’t get discouraged starting small. Just start, that’s what’s important. I’m 42 and wish I got into this game a long time ago.
Started with 1 oz a year ago, and I am addicted, buying 10oz bars everytime I have a wallet full of cash and the spot price dips a bit. My goal is 10oz a month.
I'm 58, so I'm starting very late in the game. No time like the present.

36 here and just got back into stacking. It's never too late. Just bought some constitutional silver and my first 1/4oz gold coin. Looking forward to building my stack. So far I got around 40 oz.
Great video great information. Loved that you sorted and spoke. Kept me involved by watching instead of seeing just some silver sitting there.
If you need to stay motivated and want to stay on the same theme you can always do the quarter guardhouse box. Quarters tend to be cheaper than half dollars at the moment anyway. Thanks for sharing highlights of your journey with us!
Quarters are much cheaper. And can break down into smaller fractions if price ever pops. I like to have both and dimes little of everything.
Congratulations on completing your box. Keep stackin to the rafters!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, congratulations on completing the GHB half dollars! I’m thinking about doing a quarter GHB. Great video as always!
Awesome video! Definitely sharing this video with family and friends.
Great video. Congrats on filling the box!
I have slacking lately, need to motivated again. Thanks for pushing me in the right direction.
Thx for the video very informative
Thanks for sharing.
Real glad I found this channel, just started buying silver this month, wish I started sooner, doing a weekly trip to my local coin shop and get 5 rounds a week, thank you!
Great presentation, thank you.
Great origin story to go along with excellent advice. Thanks SD!
Wow, that was a lot of silver. Thanks for sharing your thoughts about stacking silver.
you are very welcome and thanks for watching! 🔥🐉
Great video and one that answer my questions!!! Thank you so much!
Well done, that is a good feeling!
Very satisfying watching you fill that box... congratulations.
thank you very much! 🔥🐉
Congratulations on the box
Very awesome!!! Did you get that achievement feeling. I do every time I meet a goal. My 22 vow to myself is 5g platinum and minimum 10th ounce gold every month. Thank you for your encouragement these past couple yrs. You have helped me more than you might think. Again sir THANK YOU!!! Stay safe stack on and peace from Kansas!!!
Awesome reaching a goal !! Thanks great information and video. I am a new stacker . I stack mainly to save $ I have a hard time saving cash and won’t cash in Precious metal
Congrats on finishing your GHB 🎉 It’s always a great feeling to finish something. I’m working on my second Half Dollar GHB. And still working on my dime box. Your video motivates me to work harder on my stacking goals. “danke” = “thank you” Stay safe
thanks so much! maybe i’ll start another half box 🔥🐉
I love that you finished your half dollar GH box - and so quickly! Looks like the half dollar boxes only hold 28 tubes at $10 each - $280 total face value. I've been working on a quarter box, but they are huge holding 50 (!!) tubes of $10 each - that is $500 face value - no wonder it is taking me so long to complete. My quarter box will hold a whopping 2000 coins with a melt value of $4 each (in Jan 2022 prices) that is a LOT of silver!!
I just made my first purchase of silver 30 Oz 20 rounds and my very first 10 0z bar I'm excited and thank you for convincing me to start stacking
Excellent for all the newbies
Congrats for completing your box
Excellent for you, being so young you are going to reap the benefits . All the best
I'm stuck in that mindset that I need to save my fiat currency. Most of it comes from owning a business and needing liquidity. BUT that being said... I still make myself convert some to precious metals every month, sometimes a few times a month depending on the deal I'm getting. It helps me have the confidence that I have those hard assets but also have the liquidity that I need. It's really became a savings account for me and I love to save this way.
What do you collect?
Silver and gold are extremely liquid if you have the time to go to a local coin shop. Last time I needed to sell some metal it took about the same amount of time as a trip to the bank.
@@bootleg1514 did they pay you spot?
@@bootleg1514 There's facebook groups where I can buy and sell silver. but the coin shop is always an option if the economy tanks so badly no one has money.
Congrats on complementing the guard house box
thanks so much! 🔥🐉
Guido Stacking is THE MAN, he is really the only person or place I buy from and has been that way for months now.
Yes he has some great deals
you know it!!! 🔥🐉
Congratulations on finishing the box of silver!
Your tag line got me. I thought you had lost the faith in silver and was going to say
Don't DO It Brother...now is THE TIME to put aside some REAL MONEY for the Questionable
Economic Future. NOW IS THE TIME TO BUILD REAL WEALTH!!! Keep Up The Great Work : )
US 90% is always such a great addition to the stack. I added $9.25 in Canadian 80% quarters yesterday.
that is awesome nice pick up! 🔥🐉
Can you sell silver coins made of 80-90% silver ? And who buys this? Thank you
Great insight on why we stack
aha. You had me there. got me all worried and stuff. good on ya.
Cool story man! Keep stacking bro! I love your videos! 👍 👌
Thank you for the shoutout! Congratulations on reaching your goal! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
where can you find these specific guard house boxes? I have been looking at some but they don't look right. I want to start filling a couple of my own for stacking.
Stacked more this month given the underappreciation of this commodity in the secondary markets and potential shortage for new technology. LFG!
yep but the dips! 🔥🐉
Congrats on finishing the half dollar box! 🍻
thanks so much! 🔥🐉
SD that $20 bill is a star note just in case you didn’t notice ⭐️ Keep on stacking
yeah haha all of the bills I show in my videos are usually star notes I have kept over the years 😁🔥🐉
Started stacking on this deployment. Still haven’t held my stack IRL. Can’t wait to get home
Great video
Oh man, dumping that silver out was hot!
Me too, no problem here storing my savings in silver. ✊
I’m working on my dimes box now but never add $100 face at one time, dude that’s awesome!
I’ve been introduced to silver stacking by coin collecting and now I’m saving up for some junk silver to start silver stacking
Great video! Thanks for the info! Fun watching you working on your supply.
I'm new to stacking and I don't have a lot to spend right now. What would you recommend for a newbie like me? Thanks much! And congratulations on your monster box completion! 🥳
Congrats on finishing the box. You've got a few left over to start the next one 😏
Whilst I still buy both I feel like silver gets treated a bit more like an industrial metal than gold as a safe haven. Obviously there's some cross over in both but it'll be interesting to see where the future takes us
Where do you get your box and your tubes from? So much more organized than what I have
Congratulations 🎉
How do I know if I'd be getting a good price on half dollars?
Only thing now is the quarters great video thats for sharing with the premiums would go back down that low
Nice!!! Half’s are my favorite constitutional especially jfk how many oz are you up to total???
Yes the brain needs to be rewired from fiat madness. It takes a few years to get rid of the anxiety associated with changing dollars into silver. I am with you now its the opposite anxiety. I also have three boys! My oldest just said dollars bills can easily get blown away in the wind, while silver can't...lol Nice unintentional metaphor. He is only 7, but he has a personal stack a little over 7 oz.
that is a really good metaphor! My oldest is 7 as well and he has a nice little stack 😁🔥🐉
I bought from Guido myself last year. Love them little silver dimes he gives with small purchases. I should see if I can get a private sell with him.
yeah guido is awesome 😎🔥🐉
I bought from Guido as well. I bought a 1/10oz gold eagle. Private sale. I got his email on CZcams we talked and then I emailed him and we did the sale via venmo. Worked out great!!
New to stacking, and would like your advice on silver rounds or coins?
Hi there, I watched a view of your videos when your filling up the box. But I have a question, what do you pay per silver halve dollar? I am from Holland so I have no clue.
I like the channel don’t get me wrong ! Nice stacks man 👨
thanks! 🔥🐉
Where is good place to start with Fractional silver like the half dollars? LCS? Online?
Can you please share the link for the gaurdhouse box and tubes you use
its time for a maple leaf monster box :) lets go.
SD, you now have to do the silver quarter guard house box to round out all denominations.
I started by scraping metal too mostly copper and brass
that is awesome 💪🏽🔥🐉
What is your advice currently regarding what we should pay for 1 Troy ounce of junk silver
203 ish oz in that box, awsome, I have some constitutional but live overseas, I find quarters the hardest to come by.. mercury dimes Franklin halfs washy quarts are my favourite.
ive just started i have 4 and 1/4 oz of silver so far. i dont really have a strategy i just buy when the price goes down lol. ill get a strategy one day
Any discount code for SD Bullion!?
@Silver Dragons
How much did you pay for the bag of half dollars? I guess way over 1000 dollar.
Is that 20 dollar star note rare? If so I would not change it out for silver.
Great vid..now have 3ozs...
Can you do a video on how to price out pre-64 silver dollars?
Thanks for great movies, I'm also a stacker and send my greetings from Poland. I have only one doubt about the thesis that silver coins can protects against inflation. Now, unfortunately, in Europe the inflation is (at the official level) about 8% and silver not go up. To protect capital, it should grow at least 10%. How will you answer?
There is no right answer for this question mój przyjacielu. 😉
I’m guessing they’re encouraging people to invest in digital assets. The NWO currency
Hey how much did you pay for all those silver coins..the walkers etc,?
1oz gold a month
Congrats! Im looking into doing this also, how much US dollars do you think it costs to complete one of these?
28 rolls of 20 half dollars = 560 coins. If you can find them for $10 each ($20 per $1 face value) that's $5,600.00
@@beeks919 thanks for the math I appreciate it 🤣 I can never understand the price for junk silver
@@longisland_stacker631 you're welcome!
Yes I've been stacking for about a year now. From watching your videos. I don't see how I'm going to make up for the premiums I've been charged.
I’m curious why you say that if you’ve only stacked for a year. If you’ve been dollar cost averaging with your purchases, aren’t you planning to see a ROI in 10/15/20 years’ time? Are you planning to sell your silver soon or are you buying to hold long term like most stackers? Not being sarcastic-my questions are sincere.
I began stacking at the start of 2021 and while no one on the planet knows what will happen with spot price, I expect to witness silver go to $40 or $50 an ounce in my lifetime. If not, I’ll let me kids deal with my stack.
I'm new to stacking, so I'm still having a difficult time adjusting.
I have a safe with cash I never spend,l so I dropped two thirds of it in to silver.
Now I'm wondering if I should put the rest in to silver or hold the cash.
My bank account is seperate from this.
I'll adjust, eventually.
Change is your friend, I suppose.
Anyone know the best place to buy silver in the UK? Seem to get charged so high above spot price!!
Agree. And VAT on money? Don’t get me started 😦
Inspirational
Where do you get the empty boxes?
Beautiful!!!! 😊 ⭐🌙
1. What is a guardhouse box? 2. Does Guido Stacking provide competitive pricing and 3. Great video! Comprehensive and Very well put together.
Is it bad to say that I’m waiting until I own a house before going all out on hoarding precious metals?
Hey silver dragon good morning hey I’ll follow you for a little while and I have a question about the dealers online I noticed APMEX is like $20 expensive the SD bullion do you know why
Need someone to tell me where I am wrong.
I want to start stacking some Gold but, every time I look at Gold and I look at the premium as a percentage of the cost of the say 1 oz it looks to be 30%. When I say premium I'm talking about the total cost to get it to my doorstep so they always have their advertised above spot price but, then when you pay i.e. debt card they tack on more cost and as a former business owner they are not simply passing on the cost of the transaction fee they are adding to margin. On the other hand when I look at Silver the total of what I consider premium to be its usually around 20% so, if I am correct ounce to ounce between the two metals why would I buy Gold? Help, where am I going wrong?
how u sell it later?
Just getting into silver and gold in the UK. Ive been in the scrap metal industry for 15 years I have four kids and moneys always been tight so more silvervthan gold frustratingly as tax is so high on silver but I'm enjoying myself and get a buzz every time I get a good coin!
Time for the quarter box
I guess I’m just OCD 😂
I would have kept the barbers together. Or did a role of them with some walkers. I also would have taken the extra ones you had and swapped them for some slicks and purged those.
Still, box looks 🔥
i suggest a guardhouse box of each of these: Kennedy's, Franklin's and Walker's. no more mixed tubes. lol
I know, right? Our OCD! 😆
I stack silver much as you started to. I am very low income so I buy only one or two silver rounds every payday. Over the years though it has accumulated to quite a respectable stack considering the modest purchases. I have seen silver rise over the years overall and am quite pleased with my modest investment. I only wish I could afford to buy more.
Sure put a smile on my face to see you “face” your coins.
Do some foreign coin challenges. Start with Canadian silver dollars or Maple leafs. I'm working on Mexican pesos right now.
Do a silver dollar box!
"silver is ridiculously cool".......love it.
I am 34 years old been wanting to invest in my future/retirement via purchasing physical silver for quite some time.
Looked into it several times over the years but always bottled it. Finally bit the bullet early this month and got 2 x 1oz silver coins from the Royal Mint.
I am now hooked I have now acquired 15oz in silver in less than a month. I am buying cool design coins/collections as opposed to eagles, brits, maples etc at the moment(I will get into those at some point for now I am just having fun). It may not be the most cost effective way to do it but I have always enjoyed collecting things so I want to make this fun so that I keep buying some every time I get paid.
I don't really have an end game in mind I am just looking at it as an alternative method of saving, I still save fiat currency in a savings account and also crypto. I want to collect up a nice stash to help protect my wealth against inflation and also as a possible retirement it needed pot. I hope I never have to liquidate it and I earn enough that I can simply keep my stash pass it on one day to my children.
These videos are great been watching loads and it has really encouraged me to want to collect more and convinced me I am doing something that will one day be beneficial to either me or my family.
In my very very limited experience what I am trying to say is It's never too late to start, average it out each month when you get paid just buy what you can afford also save some fiat for quick access to cash funds in emergencies (The money I have left to save after my expenses I am splitting between fiat savings, crypto and silver) and lastly have fun with it that way you will be more likely to keep at it long term.
How can I buy silver in Brasil
