    In this chapter we see about the any type of Transformer design basics and practically how to make a transformer too.
    If we want to design the specific rated transformers neither buy from shop, for upgrade our Amplifier, UPS or other equipment i hope this tutorial may useful little bit.

    Excellent Video.
    Pl correct at 30-0-30 tape equation, by mistake 40-0-40 is written, but answer is correct.
    other thing at many places h and w are written cm2, which should be in cm.

    Sir, After exploring several times i got to know to find EI Laminated Core using Tongue Width, However For the derived value from Core Area i mean 36 cm2
    Where Gross Core Area = 36/0.9 would return 40 cm, then i have taken sqrt(40) that comes to 6.32 as Tongue Width.
    In sheet i have tried nearest value to determine somehow Couldn't make it up.
    Could you please give some insight on this how to proceed further by taking alternative measures on Core Area if possible.

    hats off to you sir. i have been searching for this tutorial for quite long. that too in tamil. it is a real lottery. thank you sir. please explain why you don't follow the constant formula everyone gives that is 42/core area is number of turns per volt. and what is this 1.152 is it a constant.
    why you have not considered peak voltage, power out, DC voltage factors. what is this standard core size table you have given. what is tongue width. please explain. also if i want to order materials for DIY project, how to place core size. will be very grateful if you upload a making video. thanks a lot sir,

      The KVA mentioning is only for power exchangeable or power generated devices. Like Transformer, alternator,etc.
      The watts or W is for Power consumable devices,like Bulb, motor,any load..

    Bro . What is the rule for 42 .becasue some people say 42 /width×length and this is the number of turns.. can u explain this rule

      They simplified the formula with constant frequency and magnetic flux value. So only easy to use. Just you solve the formula with 50 hz and Fx 1.1 without the core area. The answer will come nearest to 41 to 45.
