Its so sad you’re not the drummer of Rings anymore. You learned all of the other Aaron’s probably programmed parts for lugal and u kept that style. I would love to hear that on the new album. But i imagine you left for a reason. Also i love watching your Moeller inspired playing so smooth with those rebounds boy
Creme Jockey moeller is money! & yeah, keep an eye on the interloper stuff that comes out. My playing style is definitely coming out tenfold over that music

Yo i heard the Mars Volta is writing music again. You and Pridgen are probably my favorite drummers. Its a long shot but i would die to hear you play with them lol and yea Moeller is money all the drummers who use it seem to get the best gigs. I met Luke Holland and he didn’t know what it was!!!!! Lol Clay from Polyphia i met the same night and we had a laugh about it
Aaron Stechauner on another moeller note i went to jim chapins (the inventor of moeller) memorial show like ten years ago i know billy amendola from modern drummer from when i used to tour he got me in. But dude i met Gadd, Purdie, jojo mayer etc it was sick. I play guitar tho lol but my best friend (who plays exactly like you flat drums, snare angled away from you and all) is a drummer who i toured with on multiple gigs

@@AaronStechauner That's awesome to hear! I bought Trick Black Widows but the compression spring threw me off since I bury the beater and swivel. I sold them and went back to my old pedals. Have you also tried Czarcie Kopyto? I've been thinking about getting them but they're $2000cad 😭😭

I'd say that it also depends on the mix and all of that, but I do agree that his kit is sounding better now!
To be honest I really liked the maple kit with coated heads, it sounded mean. But I do like this kit too
