@shen 92 I used to shave with Treet blades but they're not maintaining the quality good enough anymore I use Gillette 7'OClock Blades now and they're just absolute perfect for me
Great video, Rich! The Treet Platinum has really surprised me. On par with the PolSilver and Rapira Platinum Lux, for me. I have now tried it with several of my razors and it performed well in all of them when used with a little bit more aggressive plate or setting if an adjustable... same thing that I do with the PolSilver or Rapira. How you guys manage to shave with a double edge razor 10-11 times? I have used Wilkinson Sword Classic(the plastic one) and each blade lasted 3 shaves. Is it the Safety Razor itself? Let's say if i buy a more expensive Steel razor, is it gonna last longer?
@@onurozen1683 maybe... because the grip a plastic razor may have on the blade may not be as firm and tight as a metal razor. So the blade will move about slightly during shaving and bend or flex in a way that dulls it sooner. With metal razors you can tighten the grip to a higher degree, so the blade may remain firmly in place as its dragged through facial hair. Just my theory nothing scientific though.
I have 2 shaves on the Treet Blade and I’ve had some struggles. I have drawn more blood with this blade than any other blade I’ve tried. I’m going back to the Voskhod blade and see how I do, first trip with the Voskhod was great. I’m really new to double edge shaving and learning a lot. I’m having a little razor burn on my chin and I think a lot of that has to do with I shaved off part of my goatee and those parts of my chin haven’t seen a razor blade in years
I just wish I could get the dang Treet Platinums out of their 10 packs. On the back or the package, it says "OPEN HERE". But there is just a slot there, and I would have to tear the package to get to the blades. I'm probably overthinking this. Anyone have a solution/explanation? In the meantime, I'll just leave the packages unopened and continue with my Personna Platinums. I was told that the Treet Platinums were a bit less aggressive than the Personas, that's why I bought them. But there has to be a better way to get to the blades than to just rip open the package.

I heard that the futur is still in the lowest setting aggressiv is that true and could i use it every second day? I used always muhle r89. I dont want to buy it because im scaref that it is too agressiv.

in Argentina the only available brands are Treet (from Pakistan) and Cloud (from Shanghai). I'm using Treet for now, they do the job :)

Treet Platinum is my everyday blade. Smooth, efficient and lasts me 10-11 shaves. And very inexpensive. I pair it with all my razors.

Great blade also love it. Have the Merkur Futur too (Matt version) and will try the 1st setting and this blade with it.

I tried this blade a few years ago when I first started wet shaving with my EJ D89. I might try them again with my Parker Variant or Semi Slant.

just shaved my head with those Treet platinum, they are great, as sharp as the Astra SP but I feel they are more comfortable.
