Besides, even though you really only spent the war changing out engine parts, your hot girlfriend will think that you're Audie Murphy.

Do not trust the UK/ USA warmongers. Ukraine should be reunited and free . The UK/ USA alliance is using Ukraine. Rather than be truthfull about important issues, like Vax injuries and deaths, the Ukraine and the collapsing economy of the UK ,they are churning out mass daily propaganda on all the state news channels. They don't want to educate and inform us about the terrible Soviet created famines of the 1930 s , Ukraine heritage. Instead they portray Ukrainian people as a load of needy stupid peasants unable to stand on their own two feet. It's s complete re run of the WMD lies used to invade Iraq. As for western Europe ,they just want to exploit the poverty and cheap labour from Ukrainian people who have to slave in Poland and elsewhere.

Communist containment never worked and cost the lives of many anyway as the Cold War marched on. Russia had no oil and no food after the slug with Hitler. Why is easy to answer - because with army 6x size of Ukrainian they think they can come and take whatever they want. Dreams of reuniting old USSR never die. In addition - scoring some political points inside Russia when his polls in decline. Former USSR members either submitted to Russia (though formally independent) or fighting the war with Russia minions in disguise (that Russia calls "civil"). No, the reason this would be done is sensible. Because directly including Ukraine at this stage would actually potentially be strategically more dangerous. Having a 3rd party petition FOR YOU is smart because it removes some of the emotion/heated argument that might be had if Ukraine and Russia were allowed to discuss it. The U.S. also has more game theoretic power in this situation and therefore by saying "No you can't talk to Ukraine in this meeting" it forces Russia to have diplomacy with the United States which puts Russia in a far less favorable position because they can't just bring up one hundred and one reasons why Ukraine this and Ukraine that. It's one way of saying "The buck stops here. Here's what is going to happen:". I think Ukraine could or should be involved at some point, but as a first matter, having the most powerful military power in the world say "Yes, we'd like to meet with you right now, thanks" is a lot more important and intimating than involving the object of Russia's ire.

We live in a global society which is not very healthy. Human lives are considered less valuable than money. We are pawns in a world where the very rich and powerful use us to make them rich and to play their war games. There seems to be very little morality in the world, with hundreds of millions of people starving. A healthy system designed to serve humanity, instead of exploiting it, would not allow this to happen. All human beings should have a right to access all resources necessary for survival. Billionaire space rocket flights and exorbitant wasteful lifestyles are not acceptable.
