Hi Amy this is Sherrill from Cheyenne Wyoming. I love to transform old furniture. Started with Shabby Chic....for myself. I love watching your videos so I'm new to your products. The only thing have purchased is the beeswax. I haven't used it yet. I love this video.
I’m really love adhesive stencils. I have plenty of usual ones and it is a pain to work with. Even I’ve got some special adhesive, you never know how it’d turn out. Without any adhesive it’s a double pain because the pattern on stencil is never gonna stick tough enough even you attach those edges with painter tape. So, now I have a thumb rule to buy only adhesive stencils.

If I do this finish, I'd want to seal the chalk paste before selling the piece. Would I use the Matte Sealer over the area, or is that not appropriate over Venetian plaster?
Yes you would want to use the Matte Sealer to seal the ChalkArt!
How many uses does the stencil adhesive last through. Silk screens have not lasted for me, so I avoid them now. Beautiful finish and I cannot wait to try it!
As long as you take good care of it, it was last for many many uses.
Does this plaster need a sealant?
Matte sealer.
