29:12 He reminded me of Ibn Baz, I read in his autobiography that he used to answer questions even on his way to washing his hands after eating!!
Just imagine how they use every little moment being beneficial to the people!!

What is the reference for Imam Shaf’ī statement
أن تكتب أحسن ما سمعت، وأن تحفظ أحسن ما كتبت، وأن تحدث بأحسن ما حفظت ?
Jazakakallahu Khayran. i heard it in a lecture attributed to him sometime ago and learnt it. However, since you asked I have done research and can’t find it in the Diwan of imam Shafie. But for Benefit and as principle, it is not related to Islamic legislation or any issue of Aqidah. It is beneficial advice on note taking tips that is sound. - Ustaadh AbdulWahid
@@MadinahCollege No problem if that is the case would it not have been more correct to say this statement was attributed to Imam Shaf’ī? Maybe you can share what lecture you heard it in if the audio is available or the Shaykh who mentioned it and then that can be sought Insha'Allah. Yes, it is a very beneficial statement but was hoping there was a reference for it. But if you do end up doing more research and coming across it please do share. May Allah bless you.
Can someone share a link to the CZcams videos he talks about that goes through the book at 8:00 ? Jazak Allah Khair

who was the another scholar named ibn jawzi , other than ibn qayim al jawzi
maybe it was Abu al-Faradj ibn al-Jawzi
he wrote for example tables iblis which is a renowned book and many many other books, you will find infos here although some may be wrong on wikipedia en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ibn_al-Jawzi
I meant talbis iblis
and to correct you it is Ibn Al Qayyim Al Jawziyya
Aljawzi is his family or grandfather name ,ibn alqaim on other hand was the son of the carer of the school called aljawzia founded by aljawzi that is why it was named after it’s benevolent founder ,the caretaker of the school is called qaim in Arabia hence the name qaim of aljawzia ,qaim of athaheria ,qaim of alomaria, and so on .so these two scholars didn’t relate to each other ,lived in different times ,one of them is the son of the carer of the school founded by the family of the other, hope I helped you.
