Chapter 5: (1967) 𝘛𝘩𝘶𝘣𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘠𝘦𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘔𝘦𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘢 𝘙𝘶𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘗𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴
    Written by Adele Hulse
    Narrated by Shasta Wallace
Chapter 5 describes the life of Zina Rachevsky, the story of how she first met Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche, and what happened after she became the Lamas' first Western student.
𝘉𝘐𝘎 𝘓𝘖𝘝𝘌 tells the story of Lama Yeshe, how he met Lama Zopa Rinpoche and how they created the Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT), one of the world's largest Tibetan Buddhist organizations. It begins in Tibet, where Lama was born, and moves to Buxaduar refugee camp in West Bengal, where Rinpoche became his student, to other parts of India and Nepal, and finally to the entire world.
Adele says: This book is dedicated to you, the reader. If you met Lama during your life,
may you feel his presence here. If you never met Lama, then come with us-
walk up the hill to Kopan and meet Lama Yeshe, as thousands did, without
knowing anything of Buddhism or Tibet. That came later.
