- How To Get Your LS Swapped OBS Gauges To Work. I also have a video of where to move all your wires to complete the swap.

Bro you are a God send with your vids
Glad i subbed keep up the good work 👍👍👍
Nice job with the video it helped me a lot
Early 411 PCM (99-02). Actually has an output for cruise control on stock application
Very cool. Time for some 15x12 wheels. Keep up the good work
Pro tip: you can watch series on flixzone. Been using them for watching loads of movies these days.
@Kristian Silas Definitely, been watching on Flixzone for since november myself :D
You're the Man !!!
Question , I have a 95 obs V6 and I'm putting a 5.3 LS I have a stand alone harness , so when I hook up the vss from the obs harness do I tie the wires into stand alone harness with obs or just omit the standalone cause I'm not sure if the ecm has to read speed for the transmission?
Hey bro I have a question. I have a 95 K1500 if I purchase a plug-and play. How much work would it be to keep my AC and all gauges working? Why can't I retain my old PC?
Hey brother, Any chance you could give me a hand figuring out what I am allowed to thin out on my 95 GMC C1500? Doing a 5.3 swap and having hell figuring out what I need to keep and what can go. I should add.. I got the Truck 5 minutes from it meeting the crusher. the 4.3 wiring harness was missing almost every connector to the ENGINE and it was cut in half. So trying to figure out what I need to splice back together and what doesn't need to be is difficult.
You do not need a fuel gauge interface module with a gen 3 swap. The 0411 will work it just fine with an express van segment swap. If you have a 03-07(green & blue plugs) you will need hptuners to set up the fuel gauge settings.
How do u wire a 03-07 ecm? Which pin goes to the gauge. The pin out I have only had pins for the primary and secondary sensors but not for the gauge.
@@jonathonkrkptrk1010 did you ever figure out the wiring to this? I cant seem to figure out how to wire it to a 04 pcm
03-07 pcm applies only to 1996-1997 transition year to 2000 were the fuel guage is digital and not analog.
Well this works for the 93 and 94 v6 vortex for the ls swap 5.3
Also doing a '98 K1500. If I keep the obs 4l60e range plug, do the 4 range wires from LS harness splice in somewhere? (A,B,C,P)
Thanks.
Are you referring to the neutral safety switch? If so just remove it from the ls harness and keep the 98 one. I have a separate video going over all the wiring
I’m about to LS a 91 k1500 with a gen IV 6.0 and 4l80e. I’m planning on keeping the OBS pcm and adapting the temp, oil and keeping the VSS from the transfer case. I just haven’t figured out the RPM gauge yet. Planning on ordering a PSI stand alone harness, I’m hoping the LS PCM will have a RPM output that jives with the 91 cluster I can splice right into the 91 harness
Check out the 88-98 ls swap Facebook page
Can be setup in tunning
Do they have a de pin set up for 98 k1500 4.3 v6 vortec to 4.8/5.3
I was like this dude looks way different now. Then i realized this is a different channel(different guy). 😂..🤦🏻♂️
Ok I know this is an older video, but I'm confused on the obs to LS harness connection. Lt1swap shows you the plugs he used, but what wire go to which wire, that's what I'm confused about
I've asked this on other videos and forums and no one seems to want to answer that. I have a 95 k3500 & 5.3 swap with Dane issue. Just show me what wires please
How did you fix that temp gauge going all the way hot? I'm having same issue on this 97, I'm running 3 wire sensor from fbody and its doing the same thing yours did in this video, it works for a second then temp needle goes all the way hot. HP tuners is shows temp right where it's suppose to be, my fans are kicking on and off as they should. I've done a lot of research but can't seem to find a solution. I've swapped other trucks around this year and never had this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Did ya figure it out?
@@AutoMotoMechanic I did, I put a ohm resistor in the green wire that went to the dash. I believe I used either an 80 or 100 ohm resister.
I'm contemplating trying this, or Terminator X Max, I live in a rule area no tuners, but if there was, At some point when afforded I my run taller tires, an intake, different heads, different cam, each time involves going back to the tuner. My question is how much is a trip to the tuner on average?
Retuning for taller tires and gears is extremely easy to tune yourself
@@chrishansen7004 actually the question was the cost of a tuner, that was seven months ago since then I've got the Terminator X Max, all is well 🤘
@@kevinwest3689 does the terminator allow you to keep the obs cluster gauges working or are they all on the touch screen with the terminator? And is there a fuel gauge on the terminator
@@DJsConstrictors They leave all the extras out of the sales pitch, I'm running GPS for speedo right now, & the factory gas gauge on the dash and I could get the oil pressure to work on Factory, but it's set up on the hand held. The dang kick ass digital dash that's like a smartphone almost is like 12-$1400 and the little plastic part to mount it to your factory deal really slick is 300 by itself. I didn't research everything first as I thought, but I'm glad I got it I still driving around without a tune, everything's going well for the most part,
@@kevinwest3689 glad it’s running for you! That’s where I’m at I don’t want to dive head first and something comes up that I’m not sure I’ll be able to handle, like wiring 😂. How’d you get the oil pressure and gas gauge to work with factory?
Why can i not find any info on 92 obs?! Everyone is doing these swaps on the newer trucks

@@EndlessWishlist thanks for the reply!!👍
Did u have any issues with the security system from the 5.7
None
How do you know if you have a 411 computer
It will have a red and a blue connector
First🙌
Whats does TCC connect to
Brake switch
Sounds like your coolant temp sensor is for a light not a gauge.
