Merimbula Lake Fishing: Dolphins, Seals, and a New PB!

- Went down to Merimbula Lake as the tide was rolling in and while it wasn't the best day of fishing, there was plenty happening with a Dolphin and Seal looking for food. I also managed to land a new PB, enjoy!

Congrats on the new PB salmon! Those ones are jumpers hahaha. Tough break for that kid but it looked like a good battle. And hand feeding a seal is the coolest thing ever! It was awesome seeing him take the salmon after you threw it in the water a little farther in for him. So cool 🙌
Thanks, those Salmon battle hard and are fun to catch. Plenty around and some in the 30-40 inch range. Thought I might get some slack for putting that Salmon back in for the seal, but seems most liked it.

Looks like you have found your groove down there on the coast. Nice Salmon @ 60cms. Maybe some dawn or dusk beach fishing will get you some really big Salmon or Tailor. Anyway, keep fishing. Cheers and hi to Leigh.
Leigh says Hi :) I was planning on doing some early morning fishing, but its been packed down here, not sure what is going on. Would love to hook into something a bit bigger. Trying my hand at finding some beach worms today, that might help with some bigger and different fish. Thanks Neil.

Good salmon there not bad if you smoke them in a smoker.
