- Bremen is a city in northwest Germany located at the Weser River. The city is known for Hanseatic buildings around the Market Square. In Germany Bremen is also famous by the fairy tale "Bremer Stadtmusikanten" (Town Musicians of Bremen).
We start our winter walk at the central train station and walk towards the market square. There the Christmas Market is going with many people enjoying the food there. We see the impressive town hall and visit the St. Peter’s Cathedral with medieval crypts and walk east out of the city centre with Kunsthalle Bremen an Theater am Goetheplatz. There we stroll quickly through some area with townhouses and return westward to a highlight of Bremen - the Schnoorviertel.
The Schnoor neighbourhood in the medieval centre of Bremen. The medieval character is preserved with tiny streets and old houses. It's a popular tourist spot and we manage to see this interesting area.
We head back to the old town, walk along the Weser river and see another Christmas market. At last we finish our walk on the Bürgermeister Schmid Brücke.

This was not an easy walk to follow because of lack internet context and Google Map limit streets to follow. However, I did the best I could after 10 hours of viewing. Why do I do this? Because I am so fascinated by the little history I found of this amazing wonderful little town. (I am from Germany, and was swept away at age of 11 yrs old, in 1967 WHEN MY MUTTER Married a US ARMY man. Believe me, I was not a happy trooper coming to AMERICA where no one spoke German).
5:09 Statue on Bench: I read this about it. This is actually a tribute to the talented Vicco von Bülow or *Loriot* (1923-2011). It certainly makes people smile when they see it and is a good tribute to the him as he was after all a comedian, humorist and cartoonist amongst other things.
I like to think that he is sitting here happily having a quick snooze after attending a party or after having a really fancy meal somewhere. Whatever he is doing it makes people smile, so well done to Roman Johann Strobl who made this with the help of Patrick Przewloka who painted it.
Go along and see it - it’s at *Loriot Platz* , a small square next to the *Herdentor Bridge* and the *Wallanlagen Park* .

Another German city to add to my bucket list! Thanks so much for all of your videos, very helpful for planning trips in the future. I like how in most cities in Germany the Hauptbahnhof is practically in the city centre so it's easy to find your way around...as long as you start off in the right direction :) Koln is the best, the first thing you see is the Cathedral right in front of you.

At 57:27 you should've visted the "Baumwollbörse" on the left hand side, you can also here some old dude saying the name of it in the background. It's a huge building that has been a place for trading cotton since 1872. If you go in there and ask the gut at the door friendly if you can ride with the "Padanoster" they have in there and assure him that you have a license for it, (germany might be the only country where you can get a license for such a thing, however you dont need it, just tell them you know how to do it.) he will let you go.
Its that kind of old fashioned elevator with no doors where you can just hop on and off at every floor, kind of fun to do it if you never did.

Thank you! Yeah, the angle isn't face level or higher for some better overview. I hold the Osmo Pocket + Mic on a powerbank in my left hand usually while taking photos with the right hand. The lower position is more comfortable though at some point I'll surely upgrade to a real gimbal and Fuji XT-4, which seem to be take one of the best 4K60 quality at this moment. We'll see how it goes and how the gear gets sponsored. 😎Thanks for watching!

Wie sieht das mit Datenschutz aus, das Recht am eigenen Bild? wenn ich da zu sehen wäre?
Die Frage kommt ab und zu. Es gibt in Deutschland den § 23 KunstUrhG, der Bilder im öffentlichen Raum erlaubt, solange nicht die Person Gegenstand der Aufnahme ist. Personen dürfen Beiwerk sein. Sobald man eine Person bei jedoch bei (privaten, bloßstellenden) Aktionen filmt oder sie aus der Masse heraushebt, kann sie der Aufnahme widersprechen. DSVGO ist ein anderes Thema: da ich jedoch exakte Zeitangaben vermeide, ist das zur Zeit OK - in anderen Ländern (UK, Schweden,...) komplett erlaubt.
Ich versuche die Städte und Personen respektvoll zu filmen - d.h., ich bewege mich schneller als der Durchschnitt, sodass sogar Personen von hinten weniger zu sehen sind. Obdachlose, Kinder usw. werden möglichst nicht erkenntlich auftauchen. Rechtlich gesehen geben Straßenkünstler implizit ihr Einverständnis zur Aufnahme. Leute am Strand zu filmen, sollte man eher vermeiden.
Meine Camera halte ich eher auf Brusthöhe, sodass Gesichter ganz nah automatisch aus dem Blickfeld verschwinden. Falls sich jemand in einer privaten Situation erkennt, bietet CZcams auch Privatsphären-Meldungen, die ich dann zur Bearbeitung bekäme, bevor sie CZcams durch einen Mitarbeiter bewertet. Dann kann man Gesichter auch einzeln ausblenden lassen. In Sachen Musik wird das bei CZcams immer weiter automatisiert.
Hier im Bremen-Video habe ich bspw. ganz am Ende in der letzten Minute zwei Gesichter von Personen ausgeblendet, die sich synchron zu meiner Camera bewegten, da ich auf mein Handy schaute und es erst nach der Aufnahme merkte. Man nickte mir zwar zu aber mir das etwas zu nah und eben im Fokus. Also wurden die Gesichter getrackt und unscharf gezeichnet. Ansonsten richte ich die Camera oft Richtung Himmel, wenn ich zu nah an Leuten bin.
Ich bin dankbar für Hinweise, sollte ich die Grenzen übertreten. Die Videos sollen die Städte und Atmosphäre unbearbeitet zeigen. Ich erachte es ebenfalls als wichtig, dass man die Leute im öffentlichen Raum respektvoll zeigt. Am Ende sind die Städte und Architektur Gegenstand der Videos. Die Atmosphäre kommt aber auch von den Leuten aber die sollen eben eher zufälliges Beiwerk sein, statt jemand einzeln und herausgehoben. Für weitere Fragen oder Hinweise gibt es auch eine email Addresse auf dem Kanal.

The algorithmic detection of music is clever and OK with me. It's manageable when I get the right info and can fix audio before the real upload. CZcams also improves their tools.
As for the other question: This Bremen walk was done before Christmas. The Christmas markets in Germany usually stop on the 24.12.. In Poland they often run until 31.12..
