I'm right there with you! Almost the same age, but in the same shape. It sucks! I started staking at 50 though! Now in my 70's and unable to stack the way I once did. I appreciate what I did stack.

This story reminds me of when I moved 2700 miles across the country. My safe was in a moving van, so I carefully placed my firearms (half were pre registration) and my stack in the back of the car with receipts, and camouflage them the best I could. The whole move I was worried about thieves and overzealous cops.
Did the same thing when I got out of the military in North Dakota back to Florida.

I don't know if it was a glitch or not.
But on the Shanghai Market for precious metals, they had silver priced at $421.87 per troy Oz.
It was like this for about 30 minutes then dropped back down.
But our prices here in America stayed the same... why

With solar panel production hitting an all time high im not surprised the Asian market had a jump like that.

You obviously do not understand that tax laws in Europe and it shows. Otherwise, you would respect the low denomination as a tax saving purpose while still classifying the gold as a coin. Education is power
The mint has to pay just 1.5 euro as deposit to the treasury to strike that coin, instead of paying 50 euro or 100 euro to make that coin legal tender.
That is cost saving, you understand?

1.5eu = fractional gold. Do you realize right now just 1 gram will buy a barrel of hi-grade oil. A 1/10 oz is $250. A 1/4 is $600. Before you know it, a 1/4 ozt will be$800-$1000. How much was an ozt worth in the early 2000’s. Small fractional gold is affordable for many and when it’s 45k-$8k/ozt then very small fractionals will be good for trade.
