Hello from 🇮🇳 and i can directly relate to this video as M from Port Blair & I had worked in that ship SINDHU in the Navigation department. Had great memories during my period onboard the ship. Well, the answer as to why Ship was stopped at night is because the Ship was at Anchorage as it entered the Hoogly river from Bay of Bengal, Ships do anchor due to falling tide, once the tide rises Ship approaches to the Pilot boarding point to embark the Pilot till the berthing.

Boss, for all gyan-data's on ship-rolls & sea-sickness, my poor suggestion is just let go of any romanticism u may hv about sea-travel. Try a voyage fr a day if available or else forget Indian peninsula. In case u hv means & abilities u may check-out Norwegian day-long trips. It's horrendous from my first person experience.

This is actual fact due to ship journey very difficult due to I personally know ship rolling with weather some season for specially rain season journey other time no this type problem
just to avoid such sea 🌊🌊🌊sickness... always take ☕ with 🍞
3 times in every day sailing ⛵ .. no botheration...
total crew members to discharge all different different job not only catering but also cleaning ship, fresh water supply, engine maintenance, emergency medical help etc so such hectic schedules that have restricted time for 🍴🍱☕🥤🍽 ... though they announce 📢三 it well in time ...
